It took me a year to lose 35 lbs. I cut my portion sizes drastically, I used to eat HUGE portions. I drink about two litres of water every day. I do at least 30mins exercise, minimum five days a week. Even if it's just going for a walk. I made a conscious effort NOT to lose my weight too rapidly. I don't want to gain it…

I weigh myself once a week on Friday mornings. I log my weight, loss or gain, every week.

I started on MFP 331 days ago and I've lost 33.1 lb. 7 lb in a month is great!

I have the Polar FT7 and I love it. You must remember to reset your user information as you lose weight or the 'calories burned' information will be incorrect.

OK, so not all of these are foods that people eat regularly. Still.... Cauliflower - it smells bad, childhood horrors. Broccoli - be honest, it's green cauliflower, lol. Peanut butter - no earthly reason why, I love peanuts. Celery - there is no reason for this foul foodstuff to exist! Fish - of any variety, ever. Seafood…

It's taken me over 10 months to lose 32 lb. I look in the mirror and I see the same person that I saw a year ago. I haven't lost many inches and I'm still wearing the same clothes.

This made me LOL

I have a 5yr old son, I should feel young. Right? Wrong! My eldest is TWENTY! My 18yr old daughter is getting married later this year. MARRIED! Shoot me, shoot me now. If they make me a grandmother before my 40th birthday, someone will pay.

I love my family, I love my friends, but if the zombies come, I'm trippin' 'em and running like hell

Two of my seven children are on the spectrum, both boys aged five and fifteen. Bubble (aged 5) was only officially diagnosed in January but, due to our experience with Mr15, we've known since before he was 2yrs old. He has now been statemented and has an LSA for 15hrs/week, ie. mornings. He goes to a mainstream school and…

I was dating an aquaintance of his, who treated me appallingly. I eventually dumped him. By then, Hubby and I were friends and spoke to each other nearly every day. I moved house and found, to my surprise, that he was living in the next street (I'd never thought to ask). We sort of fell into a relationship, lol. That was…

I have my HRM, a set of dumb-bells (1.1, 2.3 and 4.5kg) and a yoga mat. I use the weights when I'm doing various exercises on the Wii, gives me a better workout and burns more calories. I also have a cross trainer, named Lucifer, that I use to hang coats on ;-)

The Expendables. Still trying to decide whether or not there was supposed to be a plot. There's a couple of hours of my life I'll never get back! Watching Thor tomorrow night with Hubby :-)

500 days is AMAZING! 227 days here. Not as long as some, but I have logged in every day since I joined MFP

I log *some* cleaning. I have six of my seven kids still living at home. I don't log the daily picking up of toys, general tidying, vacuuming up crushed biscuits and wiping the counters. However, once in a while I do a 'big clean' where I spend hours scrubbing the bathroom (tiles and all), vacuuming the house from top to…

SAHM of six out my seven kidlets. Miss18 lives with her boyfriend (bah). I'm here several times a day, most days. I've got something going on this weekend, but after that it's back to normal.

*ping*tiddle-iddle-iddle-*ting*ping* My 5yr old son playing 'Cooking Mama' on his DSi XL. Shoot me. Shoot me now.

Non Scale Victory. A weight loss victory that doesn't include your weight, eg. your jeans being too loose, someone noticing that you've lost weight, etc.

Nicely done! I can't wait til my boots fit
-
I know exactly how you feel! I'm currently at 201.5 lb. Weigh-in is tomorrow

Don't lose heart. I'm on day 216 (31wks tomorrow) and I've 'only' lost 20 lb. Many people here for that long have lost more than twice as much. It's slow, it's painful, but it's STAYING OFF. It's not a race, it's a lifestyle change. Don't beat yourself up. It WILL happen :flowerforyou:

Well done. I admire your dedication :flowerforyou:

I make my own breakfast bars. Plenty of seeds in the recipe, including flax.

My 5yr old asked me why I was going to the gym. I told him that it was to get rid of my jiggly bits. He started to cry! "But Mummy, I like your jiggly bits, they're cuddly."
-
HURRAH!!!! Well done :flowerforyou: It *would* be nice if there was some kind of acknowledgement.

LOL  I weigh myself every Friday morning; in my underwear, after the bathroom and before breakfast. I try not to eat anything too high in sodium the day before.

Thanks. You guys are great :flowerforyou:
