It's great, so convenient. Do double check though, you'd be surprised at how many discrepancies there are!

It takes a much longer time than a couple of days to go into starvation mode, so I wouldn't worry on that score. It all depends. When you look at your diary, do you consider it a weekly goal or a daily goal? If it's weekly, then by all means balance it out over a few days. Personally, mine is daily and I don't 'carry over'.

If you really want to know how many calories you're burning, I suggest investing in a good HRM

I asked this question last week and ended up ordering the Polar FT7F.

I've been doing this since July and I've lost (total) 20 lb. That's 1 lb every 10 days on average. It seems to me that your weight loss is about right. At least this way you know it will stay off if you continue to eat right.

Thank you, thank you, thank you :flowerforyou: Re: depth. The Polar FT7 is ok up to 50m.

Good question OP. I just ordered a Polar FT7F. Will the HRM and band be waterproof? Or just the watch?

Check out DWSports if there's one in your area. All of their classes, use of the gym and the pool is included in the monthly rate. They also have reduced rates for students.

Another reason I shop there. We eat a LOT of fruit and veg (check my user name, lol).

I recently had all mine lopped off. Before that it was waist length. I would braid it then put it up in a bun. LOTS of bobby pins!

My gym membership is £27/month, all classes are included, as is the use of the pool. No hidden extras.

I've done online comparison shops between Tesco and Asda and generally find that they come out about on par. At least with Tesco I get my points, which I save up til November and get all the double up deals. I saved an absolute fortune at Christmas!

The problem is, once one does it, more will follow. That's when the whole sanitary issue will blow up. My gym requires that you wear training shoes. I have a pair specifically for the gym

I really can't complain. He supports me in my weight loss goal. He even joined the gym with me because I really didn't want to go alone. If he cooks a meal, which if often, he notes down exactly what he's cooked and how much so that I can log it all. I weigh myself every Friday morning on the Wii board. If I'm feeling low,…

Just ordered the Polar FT7F after glowing recommendations from both MFP and my gym

The second season is scheduled to start airing on HBO starting on April 1, 2012. The UK airing on Sky Atlantic will follow on April 2nd, 2012. [Wiki]

I can't do classes. Me and groups don't do well together. I'll stick with the Wii, as soon as I'm well

I've heard a few complaints that the calorie count is a bit off. Not sure whether it was high or low. I've gone ahead and bought a HRM anyway. It will come in handy when I'm allowed to go back to the gym. Damn, if you'd have told me six months ago that I'd be complaining about not being able to exercise, I'd have died…

There's nothing like a good NSV to cheer you up. Well done! :flowerforyou:

I have had a chance to look through the playlists. I do wish you could add your own songs.

I just bought Zumba 2 for the Wii also. I can't use it yet as I'm still recovering from a nasty bout of bronchitis. Are the moves easy to pick up? I have a fair sense of rhythm (I think).

I quite literally just gave that a round of applause. Hubby wants to know what's so funny

Of all the people I have met thus far in my 37yrs, I have found the Buddhist people to be among the most tolerant and understanding, both of individuals and their various religions.

My Mother is a non-practicing Catholic from a semi-strict Catholic family. Every last one of them has divorced at least once! My Dad was raised Church of England by a half Jewess mother. I was never christened under any faith. Dad brought me up to explore all religions before making my own mind up at whatever age I chose…

Nasty toxins getting flushed out will do that to you. Keep up your water intake

It used to drive me insane. I'm a bit of a "don't invade my bubble" person, so I could just about cope with friends and family doing it. When strangers did it I nearly had a fit. If I saw them coming, hand reaching out, I would take a small step back. If it was less obvious and I wasn't expecting it, I would just grit my…
