Need to hit those last few calories for the day? Steps: 1. Find a tablespoon 2. Fill it with 1/2 peanut butter and 1/2 nutella 3. Put your junk in the box. 4. Dip the spoon in a few chocolate chips. 5. Eat.

Word. over 99%, I'd bet. You can count it as water, IMHO.

It's true.

Whelp, I'm out.

Yep. Or do all - SSC, HIIT, and lifting. Win!

Boy do I wish the anti-running crowd would consider this. I'd bet that hardly anyone on MFP is running 20+ 8 min miles a week with no other exercise simply for weight loss: The "harm" argument is unliekly to apply to the crowd here. I love this bit: "The sweet spot appears to be five to 19 miles per week at a pace of six…

You stand alone, sport.

Why, yes. BTW - sorry to cancel your RSVP. T Pain just showed up.

Most IPAs and IIPAs. Go to IPA is Sculpin, though any of the Port Brewing ones will work. PtE when I can find it. And Lagunitas Sucks, when in season. Favorite breweries - Russian River, Port, Ballast Point, Green Flash, Lagunitas, Bootleggers. I homebrew as well, though not since I started getting healthier. A day of home…

Why *ssless leather chaps, of course. And a nautical themed pashmina afghan.

Does MFP have awards for Threads 'O' The Year? If so, I nominate this one.

YOU! STOP WITH THAT LOGIC AND START TALKING ABOUT DRAGGING YOUR CHILDREN FOR A RUN IN ANTARCTICA!

Indeed. BUT THEY MUST BE MADE TO CONFORM1!!!11! NAO!1!

This, which is why your pace does not matter, snails' or otherwise. What matters is YOUR VO2 max, which is a function of (among other things) your fitness level.

Running outside 2 minute warm up 8 sets of 15 second all out sprints followed by 45 second jog at about 9 min/mile. 20 minute jog at about 9 min/mile 5 sets of 1 minute all out sprints (as fast as possible) followed by 1 minute jog at about 9 min/mile. 5 minute + cool down jog at about 9 min/mile. 45 minutes + total. Runkeeper and Seconds Pro.

It's part of the "experimental phase."

Thanks for posting this. I wonder how accurate it is? It gives me a number that is 50% higher than what the MFP cardio weight lifting number is. I've seen many here post that the MFP number is "too high." (A position that I disagree with.) If so, then this livestrong number must be WAAAAAYYYY too high.

Word. I think it's genetics. The lower stomach bit and side back fat is the toughest to eliminate for me, too. I've got four good abs but wonder if I'll ever get rid of the spare tire.

You cannot spot reduce. If most of your fat is there, that is likely the last place that it will leave. However.... I've been doing this for the past three weeks and I have seen a reduction in my body fat. http://www.trimmedandtoned.com/a-hiit-workout-routine-to-burn-belly-fat-fast It's hard as #&*$#$+#, though.

We're doing the Lord's work.

6 on, 1 off. Cardio or HIIT Lift Cardio or HIIT Lift Cardio or HIIT Lift OFF Rinse, repeat.

Water Hops Barley Yeast. Sounds pretty clean to me. IIFMM, that is. :drinker:

I'm calling shenanigans. Big time.

Not entirely joking....and not to derail the thread from delicious wine talking... but I've read that the body treats alcohol as a poison and burns it as fuel before turning to other sources. So...if you've got a belly full, the body will burn the alcohol first....which leaves all the food in place waiting to be used up…
-
Agree, but my understanding is that your body processes booze before getting to other calories....so while you are burning off that wine, the steak is turning to fat. :( Perhaps the moral is to not eat when one drinks?
-
...or just eat 600 less calories from other sources. You're welcome, America.

This thread is useless without pics of bacon.

Ditto on Seconds. I sprung for the paid version and set up my routines using that. I use it simultaneously with Runkeeper on the iPhone and it works fine. Runkeeper plays my music and Seconds just counts down the intervals.
