I agree with the others that a cheat "day" may be a little much. I think that it's good to splurge a little now and then. I think it breaks up the monotony of strict diets and tells our body that we aren't in starvation mode (in which it holds onto fat). I don't think it's a good idea to deprive ourselves of foods we love,…

Maybe you can find someone who'll motivate you to exercise during the day. Even finding 10 minutes at first to take a brisk walk will help. You said that you were tired during the day, but exercising will give you more energy in the long run. ; )

Good to know that those are on there! Sometimes you do break a sweat cleaning up the house! Especially good to know since I usually am not exercising on the days that I'm giving the house a good cleaning.

I tend to go over on carbs, but not with the calories. I also was wondering if it was bad to go over with carbs. I don't usually go over a lot, but on average 5-30. If most of those carbs are good carbs (fruits, whole grains, etc.) I'm assuming it's not that big of a deal. Right?

I agree that if you just push yourself to exercise at least 5-6 days a week it becomes a habit and you are less likely to skip it. Since I've changed my routine from 3-4 days to 5-6 days I rarely skip due to lack of motivation. It's now part of my routine in the morning. I don't even think about not doing it, I just do it!

I agree that you should drink when you are thirsty, but if you are thirsty you are already dehydrated. So, it's better to keep on top of it. I just try to keep a glass of water with me at all times and I find myself drinking 8-12 cups a day.

Thanks for the idea! Today I blended up a Yoplait blueberry greek yogurt and 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries for lunch. Delicious! It's not ice cream, but I guess you could probably freeze it. The consistancy was like a smoothie.

Did you know Direct TV has exercise on it's Free On Demand? I don't remember if there is any kickboxing, but I love the fact that I can chose a different work out everyday and do it on my own schedule!
