I've had good luck with changing my eating to 40/30/30. Carbs, fat, protein. I don't try to eat no carb but lowering the refined carbs and eating more fruits and veggies has really helped mine. I do 40/30/30. Carbs, fat, protein. This is what Zone diet, South Beach diet and most diabetic plans use. I personally believe fats are essential. I try to have around 10 per meal and 5 per 2 snacks a day (which I rarely get in). So around 40gr to 45gr a day for me.

my opinion is that ALOT of people don't even know what a carb is. There are favorable and unfavorable (not good and bad). Some are better than others. Fruits and veggies=favorable. I love the new Lean Cuisine Market Creations steam in the bag meals. VERY good and all I've had have 20gr or more of protein which is my goal for each meal. My fav so far is the Sweet and Spicy Ginger chicken. SO good.
