This is exactly what I needed to hear. I just hit 3 weeks and this is the first time I've not lost any weight during the week. I was like...wait...WHAT?! So that makes me feel better!

I read through the first book in the Shannara series as I loved the idea of the show but knew there had to be more to it. The first book was fascinating, but it took a LONG time to get pretty much anywhere in the story. I have the first 4 books sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. Perhaps I'll pick them up again and…

Welcome!

No need to apologize! You know, it took me a while to read the books and I actually put the first book down for 2 years before getting the audiobook and just listening to the series. The typos and grammatical errors....omg...his editor should have been fired. Anyway - that's totally a side thing. I will be honest in that I…

I can only speak from my own personal experience on calorie deficit during Keto. I was already trying to eat at a deficit when starting Keto, so it was an easy switch for me. Nothing really changed except what I was eating. If I were NOT eating at a deficit, I would probably have focused on eating the right things first…

I don't know if it will help but have you looked into getting a water enhancer? Something with flavor in it, like those Mio squeeze bottle things? I get sick of water usually, but I've just been sooooo thirsty for weeks, I feel like I can't get enough.

LOL - not quite. One of the costumes I'll be wearing is of Kahlan Amnell, a badass Confessor in a world where women pretty much rule everything. It's very empowering being her :) Her skill is compassion/understanding/truth through touch. Speaking with her forces the truth from your mouth and with her touch, she becomes…

You guys have no idea how happy I am to have found this group! So I'm jumping in a little late to the July challenge, but here's my info (and I'm going to go add it to the spreadsheet): Started Keto: June 21 Starting Weight: 167.4 Goal Weight: 150 (but may go lower if I still feel good) Sunday 07/01: 159.8 Sunday 07/08:…

I've been looking for more Keto friends! I used to do challenges on MFP when just counting calories and exercising and I loved the motivation of them. I must say, it would be a lot easier in a group format, rather than just a single thread. Unless I'm missing a group link somewhere? I've been doing Keto for about 3 weeks…

This is such an amazing group!

I rarely eat breakfast as it makes me feel sluggish shortly afterward - but I almost always have coffee about 2 hours after waking up. I then eat my first meal about 4 hours after waking up. I work out at night though. I know when I've tried working out first thing and haven't eaten, I end my session ravenous and…

Starting weight: 177.6 Challenge Goal: 167.6 Ultimate weight loss goal: 145 Week 1(9/11): 177.6 Week 2(9/18): 178.8 (I gained 2 pounds over the weekend so I'm still working those off) Week 3(9/25): 177.6 (up/down/up/down this week) Week 4(10/2): 175.8 (this was on a scale I don't usually use, but today I was only up 1…

Application sent! Thank you so much for the consideration (Go Hufflepuff!)

sykin :) I'll check you all out!

This is a great idea! The challenge I'm in on MFP ends this week so it'll be helpful to set goals. My goal is to get my 25,000 steps badge once next week and attend 1 yoga class at the YMCA.

I hope you don't mind if I jump in! This is easier for me to track than me just relying on myself to eventually get to my goal. LOL Starting weight: 177.6 Challenge Goal: 167.6 Ultimate weight loss goal: 145 Week 1(9/11): 177.6 Week 2(9/18): Week 3(9/25): Week 4(10/2): Week 5(10/9): Week 6(10/16): Week 7 (10/23): Week 8…

Oh yay! I finally found the thread for this! I applied - I hope I get in! I've been dying to find a Harry Potter themed challenge!

I was self-diagnosed anorexic in high school and the last time I was on MFP, I slipped back into the habit of not eating if I was close to my calories or I'd skip breakfast, then eat a late lunch and skip dinner. I am afraid of going back again this time but at least I'm aware of what I did on MFP last time (3 years ago)…

Hi! This is my second round with MFP. i put on all the weight (and some) that I originally lost a couple years ago by tracking. I'm somewhat into nerd culture, I suppose. Current vices include Harry Potter, World of Warcraft, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, and my husband is determined to make me like the new Daredevil. :)…

I'm sorry for not checking in regularly here, everyone. It's so hard when I normally only get on MFP on my phone! I really wish the discussions were on the app :(
-
I'm a little behind and haven't been in the group for a while (thanks for not giving up on my twi!) but I'm back to tracking after I've gained back over half of what I've lost on MFP almost 2 years ago. It's time for me to get serious again! So here I am :) Fitness: This one is the easiest for me to fulfill. It takes me 15…

I downloaded an app on my phone that's all at-home exercises. It's great because it's like a class - they tell you what exercise to do and show you how to do it. I can choose if I want to target an area, what kind of exercise I want to do, be it strength or cardio or whatever, and I can choose the length of time I want to…
