I know it's hard. But it does get easier :) I'm not sure what you do, but I make a weekly meal plan and then buy all my groceries at once. I decide which days I can manage a more elaborate recipe and which days I need something quick and easy. Experiment with new recipes-try for at least 2 new ones a week. I do this and I…

Yes exactly. I thought this was common knowledge? HAHAHA

I am appalled for you. WTH is wrong with people?? I'm very sorry you had to experience that. My advice, start wearing a trench coat and packing heat which you can discreetly flash to them as they drive by. That'll shut them up. An AK-47 or a shot gun will do just fine. You may be overweight, but at least you didn't just…

Holy moly! I want to go to your dentist! I want a balloon animal.....

Having friends to cheer you on is great! Add me if you like. Happy to help. Don't be afraid to ask questions. This is a learning experience for all of us.

And yes I have had bad weeks where I thought my effort was getting me nowhere and I kept at it and it levels out. It's not a steady drop off each week all the time for everyone. Sometimes you lose a little, sometimes a lot, sometimes none at all, sometimes a small or large gain. Usually after a gain, work harder, and then…

I understand your frustration. From what I read in your link to the other post, you are not eating all your exercise calories back? I know it seems very counterproductive, but you really may need to eat a little more. Peanut butter, some almonds, etc would be great to get in the extra calories. Just give it a shot. Don't…

My hubby is super sweet. He watches our child so I can have my own special time for zumba. And he tries hard not to sabatoge me with suggesting unhealthy foods. He has always loved me at any size and that is a beautiful thing. *pass the tissues please*

Thank you so much for the replies. I feel much better  She's a trooper and always surprises me how resiliant she is. She's the kid that falls down and scrapes her knee and gets up and keeps on running like nothing happened. She takes after her father, thank goodness!

That is great! It's a huge accomplishment.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! No words to describe how gross this is. Up there with the my strange addiction episode with the lady who was eating her dead husband's ashes out of his urn all day.

OMG!! HAHAHAHAHA. Love this.

Exactly!

Please stop standing next to me at 8 am and talking in a way too loud voice. I have perfect hearing, you are a ridiculously loud talker and it gives me an instant headache. And worse, I don't need to hear your every complaint about other people in the company you are going to "slap the crap out of". PLEASE stop the…

This was my thought. I also think I remember the mother having complications also with her last pregnancy? That poor woman's body. I can't imagine going through that many pregnancies! I could barely make it through one! I hope it turns out well for them. They have a lot of other children that depend on them.

I'm so sorry to hear your story. Mommy instincts are always right! I don't have experience with this type of condition-just wanted to wish you and your little one well. Keep us updated.

This is great advice. Once you get going, you'll start to really believe in yourself that you CAN do this and you WILL reach your goals. Don't settle for life the way it is now. You deserve to be happy! Add me as a friend if you need encouragement.

Oh I definitely have days where it's harder to stay on plan than others. I've been trying to get my husband on board but I'm trying not to push it and cause issues. You just put the blinders on and keep moving forward. If you feel like you want to have some pepsi every day, then make room for it in your plan. I still eat…

I was on synthroid for awhile. I didn't notice any hair loss. I know meds are scary. Try not to stress :)

Thanks! I will definitely try the steel cut oats.

Welcome! A lot of us have stories like yours-me included. I can tell you, after 4 months I feel so much better. I'm shocked at what losing 30 lbs will do for you healthwise. Add me as a friend for support if you want to.

Oh my gosh, why are people getting so butt hurt on RyanDanielle? She was clearly joking around and no one is pyscho enough to seriously think she meant that in a gross way about her own son. The point of the OP was to be silly and ridiculous. Take it easy people. That's why this section is called fun and games. Now if…

I WANT to like oatmeal. For me it's too mushy. Should I keep trying and add nuts or something else? Ideas are appreciated :)
