I don't want to be rude, but the OP was asking for veggie friendly iron suggestions.... where are yours? What would you suggest? Not many non-meat/fish foods are as iron rich as the veggie friendly options, but spinach does contain iron, as mentioned in this article here:…

Spinach, beans, nuts and seeds. Oats are also good for fibre and iron. Lots of greens too. But mostly spinach, Popeye style.

I LOVE spinach! With eggs - scrambled or poached. In omlettes. In stews. In pasta sauces. In smoothies. Raw in salads. Cooked as a side. I could go on...

Hi, I'm also in the UK. I'm an omnivore and like circuits, Pilates, swimming and the odd run! Always happy to make a new friend

Just finished my day three workout. Starting to find it less strenuous - it might be time for the Natalie versions of things. (Though has anyone else noticed that she doesn't try so hard when Jillian's back is turned?!) I also sweated slightly less! Aching in calves and abs today. My food will be mostly clean again today,…

I try to wash my hair less often - dry shampoo is my best friend. My hair is very fine and overwashing is a no-no. This blog is pretty interesting: http://www.hdofblog.com/2010/08/shampooing-less-often-for-athletes/

I had to ween myself off my Cadbury Dairy Milk! Little by little, it becomes easier to get out of the sugar fix - dark choc has less sugar and general rubbish in it. I love Lindt with Chilli, Green & Blacks 85% and the Montezuma brand too. Just a couple of squares a day keep me happy! I'm not sure how much I believe…

I think that if we exercise our bodies sensibly and are conscientious and moderate about what we feed ourselves we can all be healthy? I just don't think there is a definite answer here! My MFP veggie pals all have balanced nutritious diets. Whereas most of my real life veggie pals eat pasta, cheese and far too much sugary…

Age: 25 Starting Weight: 154 End Weight: - (hopefully 144) Day 1: Completed Day 2: Completed D2 L1 Just like carribear I was sore from yesterday - I woke up with achey arms and quads. And I was oh-so-very sweaty - is anyone else finding this too? I am always the sweatiest girl at the gym, so it might just be me! I felt…

Brilliant! Well done - I know how tough it is to turn down chocolate! :flowerforyou:

I know - boo! My line is, "Oh thank you, but no - you know I'm trying to stay away from sugar." Plus it's only going to make everyone really inefficient when the inevitable sugar come down kicks in.

One restaurant meal a month! Followed by a nice long walk.

Bump - I find this fascinating!

Well done! I struggle with something similar every Friday when my (tiny) manager brings in cakes, choc and biscuits for the team! It's hard to do a friendly smile when thinking distinctly unfriendly thoughts!

You go for it! I've just finished Day 1 of 30DS - it's tough but I find Jillian really motivating! Don't let the b*ggers bring you down!

Hi! - sorry to hear that you're having a stuggle! Just to let you know, your diary isn't open! ETA - If he's a pro, it might well be a good idea to take his advice for now!

I drink loads of tea! I used to go for the standard Brit builders tea, but it was starting to get silly and my teeth were starting to stain (added to which, not everyone I work with can make a decent brew!). I drink mostly green or white tea now as well as the Dr Stuart Slim Plus and Pukka Cleanse ones. They definitely…

Sadly, there is so much negative rhetoric everywhere about being pear shaped. I suppose the ideal shapes we’re presented with in the media is either the athletic slender type or the "curvy" hourglass. In Britain, "it's all gone pear shaped" is a phrase that's used a lot for when something goes wrong. For those of you who…

Ladies, I'll also be taking a look at these bits of pear-shaped-specific advice too, so thought I'd share! http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/best-workout-for-a-pear-shaped-body/ http://befitandstrong.com/exercise-for-pear-shaped-body/ http://www.brainyweightloss.com/pear-shape-body.html And I do agree with all of you…
