It's definitely worth making sure you've read up about it! There's a couple of eBooks that have been really helpful at explaining the long term health benefits of fasting. The best tip I've come away with is making sure that I eat slower and chew my food more - you do need to savour every bite when you're having a 500cal…

Love this - very handy!

Sent you a request, nnoifeld! :)
-
Just sent you a friend request, Victœria! I've started this week and I have the same days as you too. Really found Tuesday evening a mega struggle, but soldiering on!
-
Me too. I'm really against unnecessary criticism of another woman's body.
-
And BUMP! Thanks for this!
-
A really really sweet thought! I'd go with sending them afterwards - might be a bit cumbersome for her to take them along with her on said date really. Or, as wonnder1 said, having to arrange them with you on the doorstep!
-
Bump! Will come back to refer to this.

Winds me down but doesn't make me sleep necessarily. A bath with some lavender & a lavender pillow spray helps but if I need knocking out the only thing for it is something like Night Nurse. Which isn't good in the long term!
-
Absolutely. Trashing another woman's body is just not cool.
-
I only hug close family and friends. And I still find it stifling sometimes. The idea of hugging a stranger really makes me feel very uncomfortable.
-
That's horrible. The type of people who do that are not only extremely rude but very insecure: I think you have lovely bone structure and a fab smile.
-
I usually like myself from the neck up when the lighting is kind and I've got a respectable amount of make-up on. Obviously after a few glasses of vino I feel fab! Clothes, hormones and the amount of sleep I've had always affect how I feel!
-
BUMP!

I'm probably not much help to you as I make more or less the same veg mixture soup all winter and take it to work with me every day... the contents are usually just whatever's in and needs using! I end up making big batches and freezing weekly portions, because I'm really really lazy... I try and make sure there's always…

Level 2 Day 6 DONE! Am ready to fall into bed now. I'm v achey but can nearly do a full push up: NSV and a half! My armpit muscles (sorry, too tired to look up real name) are looking more defined today... don't want them to get too bulky though! My fitness has definitely improved - I also went to an hour of zumba this…
-
D5 L2 done! Those shoulder moves are a killer. Not weighing until Friday - the only differences I can spot so far is a more, aherm, prominent bottom and according to my boyfriend, a smaller waist and firmer thighs. But he has to be nice! Roll on day 6...
-
Alcohol! And if I may have another, chocolate. And good quality cheese. But I do find that fundamentally denying myself of anything just results in greater cravings - for me the whole idea of this is about keeping to a positive lifestyle and not "going on a diet".
-
BUMP! Will refer to this for my next trip to the health food shop - big thank you Nicôle!
-
I'm always over too! I eat lots of fruit, veg, beans, seeds, nuts and whole grains. Personally, I prefer to get my fibre from natural sources!
-
Did Level 2 Day 1 today. OW OW OW! The Natalie level is not going to happen for the foreseeable future! I have no energy for any further commentary.

Is it too late for me to join? I'm Julia, 25 from Hertfordshire. I want to lose 20lb and try to eat pretty clean - been having some hormone issues that have been keeping the weight on! I'm trying to keep consistent with my exercise and am on Day 9 of the 30 Day Shred at the moment. I like to cook a variety of veggy meals…

I've been a member since July - I must say that the support I get from other members is invaluable! I'm in Hertfordshire - if anyone would like to add me then please feel free!
-
Er, me too! Push ups are my least favourite thing ever- most of my weight is in the hip area so I doubt I'll ever be able to do a real one! I'm at the stage where I'm ready for more at the end of the 20 minutes - fitness is definitely improving! Still too scared to weigh myself - my weight hasn't moved since the beginning…
-
I also like tall men and am 5'6; my boyfriend is 6'3 - perfect when I've got my heels on!

With weight loss, slow and steady wins the race. The colleague who has lost all this weight on a fad diet is likely to regain it and mess up her metabolism. The colleagues who were cruel enough to say this to you are most probably jealous and/ or insecure about the way they look themselves. As lap222 said, get that tape…

I was wondering / worrying about this too - great post! I have a lot of green veggies, fruit and legumes in my diet so don't feel so worried now!

Day 4 completed. Finding it less strenuous whilst also finding myself chattering along with Jillian when she says things like "cos you STRONG" like an idiot. (Me the idiot, not Jillian, obviously.) Please can someone else confirm that they do this too? I feel like a naughty school girl mimicking the teacher. Jillian also…

I was wondering this too! Was under the impression that it had to be a solid 30 days?
