I tend to keep away from Negative people and surround myself with as many positive people as possible when I am in weight loss mode. Stay away from them I would say they seem jealous and those are not the type of friends anyone wants. That is what I like about this place, there are so many positive and encouraging people…

I couldn't agree more. Negativity breeds Negativity, but with this place there are so many positive and motivational people and they are the ones to latch on to for sure. I already know that food logging works in weight loss as I lost seven stone a few years back having tried the " Diets " many times before, but it was…

Some great idea's here. I especially like the one of jogging on the spot for 10 minutes if nearing your calorie goal for the day but feel the need for a snack. Going to add that one to my list as you can't make any excuses not to do that Paul
-
Oh, just so nobody gets too excited of what can be achieved in 3 days, my weight loss total of 28 lbs is now the total weight loss since the start of 2007 when I first started logging to lose weight the first time around !! Paul

I just think of my own goals, know that I really want to acheive them and then go and look at some success stories. That normally does get me back on track, as I do want to get to my end goal, and this is defiantely the place to help acheive it if you are honest with yourself. Never worry about a slip up, we do all get…

I don't run but do power walk. Usually I just admire the scenery or if I am walking in the city I find it interesting looking at peoples expressions, or guessing at what they might do for a living. Other times if I have an important peice of work on the go I think it through as I know I won't get disturbed by a phone or…

I will normall plump for some fruit, especially strawberries when they are around. At only 28 calories per 100 g, try eating 350g of them to use up 100 calories, its very difficult to still feel hungry after just 200g. I guess its because they are full of water so bulk you up. Regards Paul

What a great result , your pictures show your results so well

Very inspirational, that is a great result in such a short time, Paul

Hi, I am Paul, 47, from Wiltshire in England. I do find the Wii fit good fun and over Christmas we bought the Zumba disc. I would like to incorporate the Wii into my overall fitness programme especially when I find myself with some free time at home. So hoping to find some ideas and join some challenges with this group.…

I have a gym membership as well as exercise at home and outside. I find cardio exercise outside the gym fairly easy as I like power walking and cycling. But for strength training I find the variety of free weights and machines unmatchable to what I could do at home. I also like the facilities of the inclusive spin classes…
