I met with a nutritionist at the hospital before I started dieting and counting calories, and she said anything less than 1000 is not healthy.

You can do it!!! It is slow starting at first, but the food diary definitely helps. And keep in mind that us women (unfortunately) can hold on to a lot of water weight during, before, and after our 'cycles' so don't get discouraged. If you are doing what you are supposed to, it will happen. Good luck!
