Love those, too! Sometimes it's Sargento, and sometimes Weight Watchers, depending on which store I go to, and what they have. But love string cheese for a snack!

Hi there! I have a 19 month old "baby." I did not lose weight faster while nursing, either. I lost the initial 20-25 lbs after giving north, and the rest has come off very slowly, with most of it being in the last few months. What I found was that, around 6 months, I started struggling some with milk supply, so I really…

Good for you! I sort of had Friday night off, too--my little girl went to bed at 3:30 this afternoon, and my husband is working. I opted for laundry, Wii zumba, and ice cream LOL.

You can sort them by "most used" or "A to Z" (or "Z to A" if you'd like). There's a little "sort" button. Mine has always been set on "most used."

Wow...this thread really represents what life is made of: the joys and celebrations, the tears, the tough choices, the day-to-day stuff. Much love to all of you (even though I really don't know you at all). It is great to see a group of ladies supporting each other through this phase of life. Jalara--again, so sorry you're…

Congrats on your baby, and welcome! Friend me if you like...I'm here to lose baby weight, too!

I have been wanting to buy roasted edamame, but can't find it. :(
-
mmmm...Jasmine rice!

LOL...I'm surprised that's not closer to the top of my list! I eat that often, too.

I'm here to lose baby weight too! Friend me...let's all do this together!

When I was exclusively breastfeeding, and then pumping, I did not worry about losing weight as much as I did about my milk supply. Lots of people told me that I'd lose weight more quickly while BF, but that was not true for me. Maybe in the beginning, but not later on. Around six months I found that I really had to work to…

Definitely try it! Makes life so much easier!

So sorry to hear that. :(

I took some fish oil supplements when I was pregnant with my first...they actually came with my prenatal vitamins. I didn't keep taking them, because I had horrible, horrible morning sickness for about 6 months, and I just couldn't stomach them. Right now I'm taking a gummy prenatal vitamin that has DHA from fish oil. They…

I did WW online 7 years ago, and lost 20lbs. I really liked it back then...at the time, the idea of tracking online was pretty novel (to me, anyway), and seemed so convenient. Also, at the time I felt like paying the $14.95/month would keep me accountable. It did work for me. BUT...like many of you, I found that the…

Hi! I hope you don't mind me jumping in. My name is Kimberly, and I have a 19 month old daughter. I gained a lot of weight with her, and losing my pregnancy weight has been a slow process. I'm almost there, but I was 15 or so lbs overweight when I got pregnant. Ideally I would like to be at or very near my goal weight…

1. Fit into a pair of pants that I haven't worn since before I got pregnant. 2. Husband gave me lots of compliments on the pants, and said he can really notice a difference now. 3. Not necessarily related to fitness, but I got a lot done this weekend--we are having two different groups of out of town guests this week, and…

It's a challenge, for sure! I have a 19 month old, and work full time. Between work, spending time with my family, and taking care of any family business, working out and eating right took a backseat for quite a while. I've just recently started making a conscious effort to eat right and exercise. Right now I'm only…

Def think it takes time to build up to that kind of stamina. I'm nowhere near that...but I used to be, years ago. When I started back to working out recently, I started with 15 min, and even that was a challenge. I'm up to 30 minutes now, and will move up again soon. It just takes time. Of course, I don't have *time*to…

Love these success stories...SO inspiring! GREAT job!

Type "pregnancy" or "breastfeeding" into the search function in your food diary (like you are searching for a food), and it will bring up a database entry that you can add to your food diary. It will add negative calories (I.e. increasing your total for the day). Hope that helps!

One pound of anything will weigh a pound. BUT, one pound of muscle takes up less space (i.e. is more dense) than one pound of fat. A certain *volume* of muscle does weigh more than the same *volume* of fat. If you keep at it, you should see inches lost, and eventually the pounds coming off, too. But weight can fluctuate so…

Yes! I just did...LOL.

I also don't have time for the gym...I have an 18 month old, and my hubby works evenings. So I've been doing workout DVDs, but have been wanting to try Wii zumba.
-
Yep--I adjusted mine, too. But it is strange. Maybe someone could ask the MFP guys to change it. The recommended amount varies according to age, gender, lifestyle, etc., but I'd say at least 20 would be better than 15!

There are exercises you can do to tone those muscles (I'm sure people will have suggestions), but as for losing the fat on top of the muscles, you can't really spot reduce like that. Aerobic exercise, and all over increased muscle mass will help you burn fat all over.

Diuretics ("water pills") should really only be used on the advice or prescription of a physician, for people who have edema (swelling associated with fluid retention), blood pressure, and some other health conditions. Taking them to lose weight is not a good solution. If you are consuming too much sodium or not drinking…

Hang in there. I found that eating oats helped my supply quite a bit--I don't like them really, escept raw, but I ate them anyway. I've definitely been there...feel free to message me if you ever have questions or want tips. Did you know that if you are breastfeeding, you can search for "breastfeeding" in the food…

Know what you mean! I struggled with that while breastfeeding. I really had to make sure I consumed enough calories and drank enough water. Especially when I went back to work and was pumping...it was a challenge! I'm still BF now, but only a couple of times a day, and it is much easier. Good luck to you, and…
