Congrats, Troy. Sad you're leaving me behind in Oklahoma, but I hear there's this real sweetie in Ohio... :-) Arms are looking awesome. :-)

What has Shane done for the GROUP? He would have left half of them behind in Atlanta, he's threatened Dale, he could care less about Hershel and his group of people, he was willing to leave Sophia behind... He only cares about himself, Lori, and Carl. If they are supposed to work as a group, he's a miserable failure.

Y'all can totally have Shane. I'll take Darryl. =)

My favorites from last night were when the first zombie was trying to eat Lori and its face was coming off on the windshield glass. LOVED that. So gross. And then, of course, when that kid's leg was pierced, and Rick just ripped it off. Ouch. Btw, I just found y'all, so if I bring up old stuff out of too much enthusiasm,…

Though we play from different field houses, nah... Screw it. He did mention something about this being an adult topic, so the use of sports metaphors, while humorous, are unnecessary. I'm from the geek squad, and say sports are way over-rated.

Obviously I don't have personal experience with this, but it DOES seem logical, since cardio increases blood flow due to your heart working harder. Plus, the addional endorphin rush (which I find lasts for quite a while after cardio) could contribute. Finally, although my equipment is clearly different, I've often found my…

In all fairness, I'm still quite large, but when I run, I wear fitted tops and bottoms. It's not that I'm trying to show off anything, believe me, but because I've found that it's a LOT more comfortable to run that way, not to mention being cooler. I do run early mornings or late evenings when the area I like to run in…

I'm SO in. Setting everything up right now, and going to challenge my students and co-workers at school to do it. Maybe see how far we can all get by the end of the school year if we combine miles!

I've only gone on other people's V-Day dates when they wanted a buffer... :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: One year I got a tattoo... but anyway, just have fun and don't make it mean more than just any date, so there's not all this pressure to be perfect. Really, it's just another day, right? (That's what I keep telling…

wolf whistle! Congrats, hot stuff!

Like one poster said--it's just a number. 36! 24! 19! 120! 1,839,923! 299! 511! And 247... That's my current number, and I've never hid the first number from anyone but myself. People saw what I looked like. They knew I couldn't climb stairs without sounding like a big bad wolf. They knew I whined about my knees all the…

Love this. You look amazing! You both do! But I'm loving your dress best! Lol

When I first began running, my HR was around 160-170, but after about five-six months, I've noticed even though I run faster and farther, it hovers around the 130-140 range, even when I'm dripping sweat. Someone else said it: it's a catch 22, cause you want it high enough to burn calories effectively, but you also don't…

Tons and tons of pic from here, a lot from blogs I've written or commented on. But then there was this: [img]http://darcyeats.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/dscf4435.jpg[\img]That's chocolate covered bacon on the top, FYI.(sorry, I've put the img thing on there, which shows up when I edit, but not when I save. Oh well!)[/img]

I've seen both foods used in reality tv shows like Fear Factor and Survivor and the Amazing Race. I wouldn't want to try them on a regular day, but in a competition like that, I think I could handle it just fine. Aren't the duck embryos also really old?

Me too! I was extremely sick a few weeks back and was unable to eat or drink for over a week; I didn't let that stop me from watching hours and hours of the Food Network. It was the only nourishment I got!

I'm maybe a 3 or 4, based on male responses over the years.

If you have a photo bucket acct it also has an option for doing multiple pictures.

You can also take an OTC pain killer like ibuprofen or Tylenol about 15-30 minutes before you start. My only issue was placement. Mine is on my hip, and I had tiny invisible stretch marks there from when I went through a growth spurt as a teen, I guess, and those two lines didn't take the ink as well. Otherwise, I just…

Congrats! you look incredible!!!!

If you just suddenly dropped from say, 2000 calories a day, to 1200, you haven't given yourself a chance to re-train. Like others have said, I suggest upping your calorie intake, even by just 200, and you might see a difference. Also, eat smaller meals/snacks more frequently. I eat around 6, 10, 1, 4, and 6. Sometimes…

One idea would be to make some crockpot soup (your own, so you have better control over the sodium), put in single-serve freezer containers, and then you've always got a go-to food. I do this with my lasagna also. It takes a while to make, so once it's cooled off (and I've already had a serving, of course! ) I put…

It has been found that it is sometimes helpful to have spike days, so go for it as long as it is only one or two days at the most.

I think if you're healthy, active, and feel good about yourself, it doesn't matter what they think. However, if you find yourself getting sick a lot, then it might be due to being too small, though even that is iffy, because it could be due to a number of factors. One of my sisters is 5'6" and weighs around 115; like you,…

And the ad at the top is for Shapewear. LOL btw, the butt of the butt-lift ad is just way too... way! lol CONGRATS on your NSV though!

I'm learning that it is better to know than to stay in the dark. That's why I stayed overweight for so long. I kept turning away from the truth. I wouldn't want knowledge, but I'd ask for it... dementia runs in my family, so it is a possibility. However, that being said, there are ways to help your brain from developing…
