Oh my gosh! I say eat it, but listen to your body. I have been craving candy corn for three weeks now. I bought some yesterday, divided the bag into serving sizes (in little snack bags), and planned on eating three servings last night (the equivalent to how many calories I have left for the day, approximately). I started…

I appreciate all the advice. I will definitely check out the iphone app. Love new running apps! =)

5'9 and 140-160... will depend on how I feel/look when I get there.

I've only ran three, but the first two I did drive over them and it helped tremendously, having that mental knowledge of where I was. That VISUAL knowledge. But this last race should have been my best, and since it was in my home town, I thought, ah, I know it (from looking at the course map) and so it will be fine. And I…

If you're already putting forth the effort with romantic gestures, doing more or different ones probably won't do the trick. You've got to talk to her and figure out what's going on in her head. Like Carl (above poster) said, sometimes women just want men to read our minds (though not always). Since I've very rarely met a…

Congrats on the new baby. Since winter is approaching, this isn't a good time for this exercise, but by the time spring rolls around, you and your baby will love it-- get a jogging stroller and get outside! Walk or run! Both of my sisters have done this with their babies, and one of them swears it's the only part of the…

I love you! Just sayin'! =) Great great great success story, love the pictures, and you look AMAZING. :flowerforyou:

Yes, I can see a difference, congrats! (Like me, in pictures, you can really tell in your face, though in mirrors--an by clothes--it's easier to see an all over difference.) You look healthier AND happier! :flowerforyou:

Now THAT is a transformation! Congrats to both you and your wife for doing so amazing! :flowerforyou:

LOVE this idea!

I always lose it in my thighs and butt first... and that's probably the smallest part on my body, sadly. Next, I began noticing it in my face, collarbone, and boobs. You can see from my picture- midsection is still out of whack, proportionally. Just gotta keep doing my thing and it will eventually all work out! (NSV- today…

Sue Sylvester would be an awesome choice, since she always wears those track suits. (Though, it sounds hot to me, which is why I nixed that idea for myself.) I'm going to wear compression capris underneath a pink tutu. I have a witch's hat I will wear before and after the race (but there's no way I can run in it). Kinda…

Not everyone has to like it, but I love it. You can try C25k, but you may never like it, and that's okay.

Sometime around 13-14, I started getting curvier all over. I was 5"7 in the 7th grade... And my freshman year of COLLEGE I shot up two more inches! So it's not unreasonable for you to be continuing to develop at your age.

I have struggled with my weight all my life, so I can't remember ever saying anything to anyone (or behind their back) about their weight, since I didn't feel like I had any place to talk. However, I HAVE thought numerous times that I'd never get as big as so and so, or surely THAT person is bigger than me, or worst of…

Some stupid girl totally humiliated me when I went there a few years ago to get sized for a bra, so I refuse to step foot inside. But that doesn't change that I'm happy for YOU! :flowerforyou:

I think most people who consider eating healthy to be expensive think in terms of buying healthy food items ***in addition to*** the food they currently buy. They don't consider cutting out the unhealthy food as an option. Also, eating healthy typically entails extra food preparation, and since that can be a chore (or, it…

I finished my 3rd race today, and all I've done for any of the races is walk around before the race began; however! I didn't stretch today afterwards, and I regretted it big time (though I did to a cool down walk). Once I got home (it was just a five minute drive from my house), I leashed up the dogs and went for about a 2…

Both... but check out my user name... mostly vanity! Since I don't have anything to be vain about yet, I keep focusing on fitness goals. Right now, I want to get my stinking 5k under 40 minutes! I want to actually be able to COMPETE in my age bracket in a year from now... not have to focus on the old ladies and hope they…

candy, especially fruit kinds like gummy worms or skittles; cheetos... and lately, candy corn!!!!!!!! (and while it's not a food, Dr Pepper)

I bought pretzels last year, but I'm thinking about buying those party size play-dohs this year... That way I won't be tempted to eat them! =) But, having said that, I'm totally buying myself some candy corn. It's all I've been able to think about for a month now. I'm eating some. Probably until it makes me sick. I can't…

It is an awesome too,, but you have to putthe work in. I've found the biggest thing has been the support of my friends. Also, joining contests has motivated me. It is not accurate with it's predictions for me, However. It takes me about twice as long to reach where it predicts, but as long as I'm losing, I'm okay with that.

Not yet, but I'm stalking a few right now, and as soon as I figure out where they live, I'll report back in. It's sure to be a memorable experience. bwahahaha!

My butt has always been MIA, so I'm currently doing every exercise I can to build the glutes. Like small boobs, I'm glad that I won't have massive butt sag in twenty or thirty years. I hope. :grumble:
