I'm offended by this ad: seriously, the look on her face is ridiculous. It's an ad for men, too- do men really want to go on an eDiet and look like her?? Or I could take the ad in an entirely different direction and think really dirty things about the advertisement and then I'm majorly offended! So I sincerely wish MFP…

Didn't see this thread before, so THANK YOU for point it out! Yum!

I've wondered the same thing, but I have so far to go, I'm sure I will be ready to work on maintenance by the time I get there! I've also noticed that my exercise goals keep getting bigger too, which I think is healthier (maybe?). For example, I just finished a 5k training program, now I'm wanting to begin a 10k program.…

THIS! and THIS.

Plan, plan, plan... Then stick to it. It might not be as fun, but giving up a few weekends of spontaneity and making a good life habit will win in the end. Then, in a few week(end)s, you'll have good habits, and won't have to be so strict with yourself.

I would say, "Wow! You can see into the future? What are the winning lottery numbers?"

Congrats, looking great.

gummy worms, gummy bears, gummy lifesavers... LOVE gummies! And Cheetos. And popcorn.
-
I didn't eat a lot most days, but then I'd binge and eat an entire bag of Doritos, the whole can of cheese dip, a package of gummy bears (like the big pound package) and a two liter of Dr Pepper. That was probably at least once a month. And I'd have frozen pizza all the time. But I easily drank a 2 liter of Dr Pepper every…

Congrats!

Romantic comedy-The Truth about Cats and Dogs... LOVE this movie. Also, huge fan of musicals, and though people have heard of them, mostly have never seen them: Brigadoon is one, and my fave is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

I still have my drink of choice from time to time, and it hasn't stopped my weight loss. (True, there's no alcohol in it, but Dr Pepper does have empty calories, so isn't it essentially the same thing?!)

You look FANTASTIC! I started in January, but quit after two months, then came back at the end of June... if only I hadn't wasted those other months!! But I'm not wasting any more months in the future! Congrats!

I agree... hmmm... wonder what my comments say about me?

I change my profile picture on an almost daily basis. I'm sad today, hence the tears. Sunday was my birthday, so it was a photo-shopped pic of me wearing a huge tiara. Just whatever floats my boat. Honestly, I don't love pics of females who are half-dressed, because I use MFP at work (I teach on the high school…

My stupid HRM doesn't calculate calories, so it was a complete waste of money. Lesson learned. But I wonder of my phone C25K app, or MFP, which is the more accurate? ETA: if anyone is interested in guessing!
-
I just stay in my caloric goals and don't restrict anything except soda.
-
yes, I am, and this is pretty darn cool! =)

Haha- it's just like a girl saying "maybe he's out of town, or there really WAS an emergency, which is why he didn't call you." It's bull. We tell ourselves lies to make ourselves feel good. But that's what they are. Lies. Good rant.

Yes and no. If you're talking about getting "hit on," then in my mind, that's when a guy is kind of aggressive with his attention, and so that's a definite no. But if you're talking about more innocent flirtation, then yes. I think it has to do more with my own self confidence and the way I carry myself now than anything…

His reply was correct because you would keep the sentence from being redundant. The other phrase needs context in order to give a definitive answer; however, based simply on grammatical rules, there's nothing technically wrong with it. Some would say not to end a sentence with a preposition, but in context, the word…

You're doing great--congrats! :-)

I love you. Just saying.

Have your roommate puts hers in her room, and hide the others.

I'm 5'9", 258, and can wear snug 18Ws (20W tops). I am an apple shape figure.

Definitely do the cycling, but unless you hate it, don't discount the running forever. I started the C25K at 279 pounds, and haven't had any problems. I go SLOW, don't get me wrong, but it may still be in your future. Who knows? Cycling? Running? You may be adding swimming in a year or so and doing triathlons before you…

This is just so fantastic. I love it! Thank you so much for sharing, Cant ("S" shhhh  ). I have hope that I will finally start the scale moving again soon. Wtg friend! :flowerforyou:

Honestly, I found one of my favorites at Walmart for $11!!!!!!! It has form fitted cups, and a front closure, which I find offers the BEST support (T-back). I just happened to pass through that section of the store and when I saw it, looked. I don't remember the brand, but I love the bra. It's my favorite one to wear. I…
