  • If I might chime in, The Betty Crocker 300 calorie cook book is helping me a lot. You can find it at any bookstore for about $20, but could probably get it online cheaper. It has a lot of everyday foods that even my family will eat. The best part is I make the meals on a Saturday or Sunday and freeze them for the week.…
  • SW: 167.2 LW: 158.4 CW: 155.2 Have a great day everyone!
  • Hi ladies! I weigh in every morning - twice. Like Cris, I'm a scal-a-holic. I weigh in the morning when I get up and have gone potty. Then when I've removed my clothes before I change into my work clothes I weigh again. I usually notice a 1 lb difference in weight. For those getting frustrated by their numbers - a…
  • 245 calories below my daily limit - so I treated myself to an ice cold Bud Light Lime. Not concerned about going over my calorie limit tonight because I'm not feeling well - sinuses and TOM - so taking a shower and going to bed. Great job this past week ladies (and any gentlemen we may have). And an extra big CONGRATS to…
  • SW: 167.2 LW: 160 CW: 158.4 Slow going. Completed the challege(s) for this week as well.
  • I agree with NewChapter. I've been drinking at least a 1/2 gallon of water a day and don't go anywhere without my water bottle. I hate when I do occassionally forget it. A tip for those ladies who find it difficult to drink water: I hate plain water unless it is ice cold. I have found the Crystal Light Cherry Pomegranite…
  • Congratulations to everyone for a week well done. And Allie, you do a great job on the charts. Question, are we supposed to post if we complete a challenge? If so, I completed Shredder's challenge posted for today. The water consumption one for me will be easy as I drink at least 1/2 gallon a day and try for more. The 200…
  • on a completely unrelated note. I have changed my profile pic. this is a picture of my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend going to last night's senior prom. she has been accepted in to a major university starting in August and I couldn't be more proud. I just wanted to show her off, so thank you all for…
  • I'm weighing in this morning before I head to work so that I don't forget this afternoon. Busy night with my daughter going to her senior prom. She is going to look like a princess. I started the 200 sit up challenge and did my meditation. I swear, I'm going to fall asleep one of these times during it. SW: 167 LW: 161 CW:…
  • Hi all, I too started the ab challenge but have to say that I am disappointed in my 20. Still, I'm working on column 3 on the weekly challenges to push myself because I know I can do it. Thanks to everyone for posting about the lunge and push up challenges. Lunges - no problem. Push ups - I HATE!!! I'll have to start the…
  • I look forward to the challenges for this week. I will be starting the sit up count just as soon as I post for my English homework. And I will make sure that I post my weight on time this week. I too managed to complete 6 workouts since last Wednesday, but I didn't count my calories this weekend and this seems to be a…
  • Allie, I hope it's not too late to get my info in. I was out on a field trip with my son all day and got in late. My info: SW: 167 CW: 161 GW #1: 140 UGW: 125 As for the challenge, I work out at least 5x a week at a minimum 45 minutes each.
  • Definitely count me in. Accountability is what I need right now, next to motivation! I've never had to be accountable to anyone but myself and look where that got me.
  • Sounds good so far. What's the catch?
  • My name is Angela and I'm new here too. I joined a fitness dancing class at work and the instructor and one of the other students mentioned this site. So far, I think it's pretty neat and hope this will help me track some of those unconventional workouts like 4 hours of raking leaves. :)
