  • This is my absolute, all-time favorite frozen pizza to have at home: http://www.oetker.us/en/product/ristorante-pizza My personal favorite is the Spinaci, and I always add mushrooms to it, too. As frozen pizzas go, calorie and fat speaking, it's actually very reasonable. My only problem is that I end up eating the whole…
  • I just discovered this yummy item recently myself! I got the rosemary & olive oil fold-it.. SO good. 100 calories. Makes a perfect sandwich (cold) and an even better panini! And I am dying to make my own PIZZA on it! http://www.flatoutbread.com/products/hungry-girl-foldit/hungry-girl-foldit-rosemary-olive-oil/
  • Planning on my usual lunchtime walk (about 45 minutes at a good brisk pace) and then later tonight a 75 minute hot yoga class!
  • What a great post. Loved it! Your photos are amazing and very motivational. I am also 39, and working towards a goal of being more fit in general, and not just focused on losing weight. Thank you!
  • This is so cool.. I love all the creativity!
  • You can add me, too! Lately, I find I am on this site even more than facebook anymore. I just feel like I can be myself here... odd since I am "friends" with total strangers on MFP! But with my own friends and family on FB, I just don't want to share this personal fitness journey there... I love the support, motivation,…
  • Beautiful!! You look fantastic! :)
  • I'm at a desk job all day, too... finding the time to get in a really good workout is always a challenge for me. Once in a while I will get up early enough in the morning to get one in before work, but that's not always reasonable for me (so not a morning person!) At my current job I am fortunate that I can take my full…
  • Definitely walking, and absolutely outdoor walking! I do have a treadmill that I use when I don't have time for anything else. I just love to put my "workout" playlist on, put the earphones in, and hit the road!
  • Great thread! And so interesting how different everyone is.. I am 5'4" and currently at about 145 lbs. Right now I think my goal is to get between 135-138. Even moreso than getting to a certain number on the scale, I want to tone up and lose my poochy-belly. I found this site that you can calculate what your healthy weight…
  • It's been quite some time since I've gone to a hot yoga class.. I forgot what a great workout it can be! I have a great studio walking distance from my house. I gotta get myself in for a class! :)

  • I've wondered this myself and after looking around online, I came across this site: http://www.bikram-yoga-noosa-australia.com/weight-loss-and-yoga.htm Not sure how accurate it is, but might still give you a good idea of what your calorie burn is!

  • I'm sure you are referring to runners, but.. I am training for the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk, which will be this September. I am not a runner and get the majority of my exercise from walking. It still seems like a pretty big deal to me --walking the route of the Boston Marathon!-- so I am working on getting in shape…
  • I just have one, but I've wanted a second for years. I'm turning 40 this summer, so maybe this will be the year I get it! Good luck on your journey!
  • I need a little structure to my workouts, rather than just trying to do them on my own. I really like these DVD's: http://the10minutesolution.com/series/index.html I have the one for "Target Toning for Beginners"m, which has a great 10 minute arm workout. I have a set of 3lb hand weights and a set of 5lb hand weights. I…
  • I just made a big pot of homemade minestrone soup yesterday! First time I made it, but it was pretty easy and you can alter it to your own tastes. Mine is full of veggies -- spinach, carrots, green and yellow zucchini -- kidney beans, cannellini beans, and of course a healthy tomato-base broth. I found a recipe I liked at…
  • I second that. And really good dark chocolate.
  • Cheers to that! :drinker: And I *love* that picture! Too funny.. I tend to glaze over the types of posts you are referring to. There's already too much negativity in the world. I'm here for positive feedback, even if that means constructive criticism, and motivation, ideas, and suggestions from people who are on the same…
  • We're making breakfast for dinner tonight! I have lots of fresh asparagus to use up, so mine will be a healthy and delish omelette!
  • Wow..I *literally* just read this same recipe on allrecipes.com earlier today and thought it looked really good and easy to make! It's on my "to-make" list! Enjoy.. let us know how it turns out!
  • I met my husband in Saudi Arabia when we were both in the Army!
  • Forgot to mention that I also like to have flavored seltzer water.. I buy a 12 pack of the 12oz cans. It makes for a nice, refreshing change from plain water!
  • I almost always have a couple of lemon slices in my 32oz water bottle. I can't stand drinking just plain water all day! After a workout I will mix in a little Propel pack into to, which does add about 20 calories.
  • Love your Red Sox pic! :drinker:
  • I pack my breakfast, lunch, and snacks to bring every day! Not only do I better and can track easier, I'm saving a ton of money (and calories!) by not eating out or hitting vending machines all the time. As someone else said, *planning is key*! I get all my stuff together the night before so I'm not struggling or rushing…
  • So inspiring! I just got my two new cookbooks in the mail today, 200 Best Panini Recipes to use with my Cuisinart Griddler, and Enticing Rice for my new rice cooker... Sooo looking forward to more creativity in the kitchen! My husband and I really enjoy cooking together. The WW cookbooks are great, too. Happy cooking! :•}
  • You're not alone! I do not and will not workout in front of the family at home.. I just feel weird about it and I guess too self-conscious. If I do a DVD, I have enough space in my bedroom where I can close (and lock!) the door. Our treadmill is in our laundry room, also with a door that can be closed for privacy. I also…
  • Ooh, a topic near and dear to my heart. As you can see from my photo, I love wine. My husband and I drink it pretty much every night. For a while we were having a bottle a night between the two of us. Once I started tracking in MFP, I didn't like seeing how many calories I was using up on it. (Plus, it gets too darn…

  • I was just thinking this morning, I really need to shake up my "workout" playlist!! Two of my all-time favorites: Gonna Make You Sweat - C & C Music Factory Good Vibrations - Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch You CANNOT sit still when those songs come on! :o) Can't wait to get some more good ideas here...
  • Great idea, thanks! I love cauliflower anyway, but always looking to change things up a bit!
