Start now! If you belong to a gym, you can look into a body pump class or get a personal trainer to get you started. Since I have an odd schedule, I do weights at home with videos off of sites like Fitness Blender, Tone it up, and a few others on YouTube. I love how strong it's making me feel. I am purposefully trying to…

I am a big fan of the 2 piece tri suit. I also wear a quik dri sports bra to keep the girls in check :) SunshineGRL, which tri are you doing on the 4th? I will be doing the Syracuse IG. Loads of fun. Sadly, my training has been piss poor, but I am excited nevertheless.

Congrats to all the new parents! I am not a new parent (have a 6 & 9 year old). My only suggestion is to allow yourself to acclimate for a few months. Enjoy your baby and get sleep when you can :). After you are used to this strange new person who requires constant attention, and he/she gets into a routine, then work on…

I am!!! I have a great training program too and would be happy to email it to you. It's a 10 week beginners program (but a little hard for a REAL beginner) but I loved it.

I need to quit too.... I have done 3 sprint tri's and training for them this year is SO MUCH HARDER than 2 years ago. I am turning 40 this year too and I need to stop. Chantix gave me nightmares, so I am thinking the patch. Maybe the group that the PP brought up?

FANTASTIC Job!!!!

Definitely! I have done 5 AIDS Rides and 2 Tri's and love to cycle, but just got back into it after a 1 year (30 lb) hiatus. I am in VA and can't wait till I can get out for some long rides! I agree with the PP about weight and speed. It's so much harder right now with my midsection so large.

I don't like the Zumba, actually. If you've ever done a class you will be disappointed. Plus the Kinect doesn't seem to recognize your movements as well as it does in other games. So I do Dance Central 1 & 2 fitness mode and YourShape 2012 is AWESOME! Although seeing myself on screen in YourShape is quite the fright.

That's awesome! Your progress pics at 4:38- end are simply inspiring! Congrats! BTW - I all about tris, but that 24 hour run was NUTS!
-
I wouldn't get the Zumba.... it's not as good as other Kinect Games. another vote for Shape Fitness 2012

CONGRATS!!!! You know what they call a person who comes in last in a triathlon? A Triathlete!!!!!! BTW - Your time is actually pretty damn good!

That is AWESOME!!!! Congrats on the loss and the quitting smoking which is SO SO hard!
