I also have a Garmin 225 and it does everything I could want and more.

I second zombies run, it's amazing. I listen to books on Audible now though, only way I can keep entertained on a long run.

DFTBA is amazing and that was the perfect video for this thread. The world seems to be in a weird neverending cycle of hate and outrage lately.
-
I also prefer just running straight through. When I stop to walk I cool down and getting started again feels twice as hard.

Definitely interested!

I love Zombies, Run! Sadly I had to stop using it because I bought a smartwatch with Tizen and they don't have the app available on wearables yet. :(

I'm more worried about bears. I honestly usually keep running when I come across dogs while on trails because most of them are just curious and want to say hello, if I seem to ignore them they shrug it off and run away. If they start to get aggressive though it's time to stop immediately and shout at them.

I don't find it has ever really gone away. Lost 30lbs a couple years ago and i'm still always freezing when everyone else is normal. The human body is weird, I just suck it up and enjoy my sweaters.
-
I weigh weekly, I'm tempted to switch it to every two weeks just because I get obsessive.
-
I have two memberships as well, one is for a regular treadmill/weight room gym and the other is at a pure rock climbing gym. If they have two different purposes I don't think it's weird, its sometimes a necessity.
-
I'm less concerned with what they are wearing and more concerned with them always hogging the squat rack.

I had it last summer and the only way I got rid of it was doing the above mentioned stretches, icing, rubbing my foot along a tennis ball and drastically reducing my mileage. It took about a month and was extremely painful, definitely don't look forward to potentially getting it again.

I'm pretty much in the exact same position your in now. The doctor said we could maybe wait to see if it comes out naturally but i'm not sure which is more emotionally and physically devastating, having it taken out while i'm unconscious or having to wait around push it out myself. :( I've taken a bit of a break from…

I do! I was crazy and decided I was going to be a genie for halloween...midriff baring and all. Talk about motivation to get your flabby abs to the gym.
-
I get that feeling a lot too, people are constantly telling me to stop slogging away at the treadmill and lift some weights. Personally I love weight lifting and I do it three days a week, but I also absolutely love to run too. Having to go back to the treadmill after running outside all summer was difficult, but it's…

Ran my first Half Marathon last weekend and got 2:13, which is slower than I trained for, but I was quite pleased with because the course was extremely hilly and i'd been battling with Plantar Fasciitis. Too bad it's winter and all the races are winding down, next summer though I plan on getting out there and hitting all…

That is my main question actually, if the woven in sensors on the sports bra work just as well as other proven to be accurate straps. I understand other peoples concern about the price and the fit ect, but I was hoping to get some feedback from anyone who had actually tried one, or other such apparel. Seems like no one has…
-
You would be correct sir. $50 every 4 months doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, but I suppose everyone is different. So no one has tried it before? More curious about the accuracy of the bra vs. a strap than continued discussion about my breast size.
-
I had thought of that, perhaps buy a few I can rotate through? Also it says it can be washed up to 120 times before there is any loss in accuracy. Support wise i'm not too worried though, I could run without a bra if I wanted.

I've never heard about not taking NSAIDs before a race, can I take them the night before instead?

It's actually the arch of my foot, not the heel that is really bothering me. I did my last long run (the 8miler) a week ago and about mile 5 it was really killing me, so I took the whole week off to let it rest. Walking around it felt fully healed so I ran again yesterday for 3 miles to test it out, and it felt pretty good…

I run along the trails at the edge of town, and it definitely is hard not to imagine a zombie lurking around every blind turn or think the rustling leaves are one about to hop out and bite me. Runner 5 has bled into my real life mostly in just how much I talk about the zombie running app to people. To me it's completely…

Whew great, thanks!

I do a lot of my working out at a gym, but I could still be your workout buddy! You have to be pretty hardcore to workout outside in the winter here in Alaska, and I can't claim that title yet. (Been considering buying some cleated shoes though, so maybe I will soon?)
-
I'm 24, that's the inverse of 42 and i'm pretty funny too, does that mean I qualify?
-
Thanks everyone for the responses! I know I should be focused on myself and disregard the debbie downers, but its a struggle sometimes. It was especially demotivating when yesterday on the trails some kid actually stopped and made fun of me while I ran past. Enough to give anyone a complex about their running form. I…

I use Zombies, Run! as well, and it's great fun! The story is interesting, and you can't wait to get out on the trail again to find out whats happening next, and to get more supplies to upgrade your base.
