I felt like a bottomless pit last week - I was hungry all the time! It's TOM this week - I think that had something to do with it. Still lost .6 this week, so obviously my body needed some extra fuel.

My instructor is awesome, so she has built up a huge following. Her music is great, and she changes up the playlist quite often - but not every song, so we all at least know a lot of the moves. What drives me crazy is: 1) People who show up late and try to squeeze in 2) People who don't know their right from their left - I…

I saw someone above mention not doing kettlebells if you have back problems... If your form is correct, you shouldn't be using your back at all. Most of the philosophy behind kettlebell workouts is using your whole body to move the weight. I had back surgery a little over 2 years ago, and I had great luck with kettlebells…

If you like quick, high intensity stuff try Turbo Fire - or Turbo Jam is a little more "dancy" and a little less intense. Let me know if you want more info about either one. I love Zumba - the one on the Wii is pretty good, but can be a little frustrating because of the belt/controller issue. I'd much rather go to a class.…

Just keep doing it! It's an awesome workout and so much fun! We had a newbie in class tonight who was afraid to try it, and as I told her - just keep moving, try to go in the same direction, and watch the instructor as much as you can. Eventually you get the hang of it, especially if they use the same playlist for a few…

I love my Camelbak water bottle - and how about something like a FitBit? Oh yeah- and whatever you get for him, make sure you treat yourself to something, too! You're in this together, right??

At first glance, it looks like you're basically just eating 3 meals a day, and you don't have a great balance of carbs/fat/protein. I would also add in fruits and veggies, as I don't see too much of those in there. They will help to fill you up, as well as to keep things moving, if you know what I mean! Since I've started…

Chobani 0% Plain Greek Yogurt - at least once a day, usually with berries.

Most clean eaters I know (including myself) use the kind of breads and wraps that come from sprouted grains, not flour (like Ezekiel). They are really good - but you have to get used to them.

I don't use it but my husband does. He just mixes it with skim milk and says it's fine.

You should be able to find some great stuff! Look for grilled items (tandoori chicken, etc.) that does not have a sauce. Read the menu carefully - most restaurants will also cater to your tastes as far as spice goes, and I know the one near me will reduce the amount of oil used if you ask. If you like veggies, try…

I make egg white "muffins" on Sundays so I have them all week. I basically clean out the produce bin and chop up whatever I have - usually peppers, mushrooms, spinach, onion, etc. Saute in a tiny bit of olive oil. Spray a muffin pan with nonstick spray. Divide the veggie mixture up between the muffin cups and pour in egg…

To make any yogurt thicker (like Greek yogurt) you can strain it. Line a wire mesh strainer with some cheesecloth, dump the yogurt in and set it over a bowl in the fridge overnight. Gets rid of a lot of the water.
