Not having my inner thighs rub together. Being able to tuck in a shirt. Going to a restaurant and sitting in a booth. Taking more photos with my daughter. Wearing dress pants without stockings underneath to suck me in. Having my husband be able to put his arms all the way around me.

Weight loss will help. Try to eat as "clean" as possible with little processed foods. Read my profile to see my journey - I also was on metformin and am now off completely and did so through healthy eating.

On that machine's interval setting, after the first two bars pass on the screen and I go to the harder interval, I up it to an incline of 15 and an intensity of 10 and then when it goes to the less harder setting, I up it to incline 7 and intensity 5 and it will stay that way through the whole 30 or 40 minute workout I do.…

New clothes, new hairstyle and when I reach ONEderland, new glasses!

I can tell you my thighs are much thinner and by buttocks is more defined. My niece actually said to me, "Auntie, you have a booty". I do the elliptical and the arc trainer 6 days a week alternating intensity and incline in usually 5-10 minute intervals. I'm still battling a belly bulge but all good advice has told me it's…

I think this conversation has moved off the original intent of this post and has become a more personal issue between you. Maybe you should continue this elsewhere?

Well, now you know that it's important to make informed educated choices, right? I checked on the Taco Bell website and the sodium for that burrito is 1360, ouch! Plus, that burrito is actually called the "1/2 lb. cheesy potato burrito". Not my first choice but I can understand sometimes it may be the heat of the moment.…

I have a tendency to get "snacky" at night. It's after I've done the dishes and making my daughters lunch. I want to snitch a goldfish, a piece of turkey, etc. I usually now have 2 cups of hot tea to keep my hands busy and to be perfectly honest, I go upstairs to watch TV in bed at 9 p.m. just so I'm not downstairs near…

I tell my family I lost my insulation! I used to go outside when it was snowing and run to/from the car with a mere sweater. I wore my shoes with no socks. I didn't own a heavy winter coat (I don't think I could find one to fit me anyway). Now I had to go sweater shopping and have a winter coat. I wear socks!!!! I bought…

Buy a package of thin sliced chicken breasts and bread them to make chicken cutlets. Then just place in a casserole dish, add tomato sauce and lo fat mozz cheese and bake for chicken parm. Make a big batch of chili and the kids can put it in taco shells or wraps. I buy sausage (pork or turkey) and in one large pan cook the…

You can choose the friends you accept and you can delete the friends you don't want. This is a somewhat open forum and is geared toward fitness and a healthy lifestyle. If you open your food diary, they you are going to get the good and bad. I have learned to take constructive criticism and don't expect all my friends to…

Stay with it. The elliptical for me has been wonderful!! I do the elliptical or arc trainer almost every day and I have upped the resistance and inclines on both. When I first started in January, I could do all of two minutes. Now I do the interval or weight loss program for 30 - 40 minutes. I definitely notice a more…
