Sounds like your body is doing exactly what it should be doing! You should definitely monitor inches more than weight. I lost over 10% body fat without losing any pounds. The scale is a big, fat LIAR! Sounds like you need a new trainer if they are "psyching you out".

We love Target and I always save a TON on. Way cheaper than my local grocery store. You can use their Cartwheel app for additional savings. It stacks with store coupons, manufacturer coupons and mobile coupons. May not save a ton at once, but it adds up. I've saved almost $100 since I started using it. If you're not using…

WOW! What a fantastic story and amazing transformation. You were beautiful before losing, you can tell you have a beautiful soul. But now you look even better... glowing from within! Congratulations!

Hi! I have 3 boys ages 3.5, 2 and 7 months. I am finding it really hard to lose after the 3rd baby. Would LOVE to have some more supportive friends! Please send me a friend request :)

2 years is a tricky age. My middle son used to eat everything. Now that he is approaching 2, all of a sudden he's picky. We have a "eat what I serve or don't eat" rule, so I'm not making 2nd meals, but I do try to be somewhat kid friendly. Whole Wheat Pasta with Homemade spaghetti sauce (I like to mix in veggies), Mini…

One thing I didn't have with my 1st baby that was an absolute lifesaver with the second is the Fisher Price Rock N Play sleeper. It's fantastic... and relatively inexpensive! I would recommend the book Baby Bargains to help you with your registry research. It's a great resource to developing a registry that has the…

We didn't even use a monitor for #2 at night and wont be this time either. Our room isn't far from the nursery and they sleep in our room until a couple of months anyway. I sleep light and have always heard baby.

You should set your calories to maintenance in the 1st trimester. You need to make sure you're getting enough calories. Then add a little in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I am 34 weeks pregnant and still do everything I did pre-pregnancy except for run. I have had to slow down the last several weeks, but I still get in 45…

Wow. Your doctor sounds very harsh. I've actually never heard of a doctor "sending" anyone to a nutritionist unless they have GD. 22 lbs at 26 weeks sounds pretty reasonable and actually it's very common to pack on a lot in a month in the 2nd trimester. I'm 34 weeks and have gained 36 pounds now. I gained 10 lbs in a month…

YES! This is absolutely true. My first pregnancy I didn't exercise at all and ate pretty much anything I wanted. I gained 45 lbs. My 2nd pregnancy I worked out some, and was more conscious of my eating and gained... 45 lbs. This pregnancy I've been working out pretty much every day and have been watching my calories much…

I agree that you shouldn't work out. Some doctors ask you to fast, others don't. I never had to, they told me to eat my normal breakfast.

32 weeks and still lifting!

Ab exercises are allowed during pregnancy. In the 1st trimester you really don't need to do anything different (listen to your body of course). In the 2nd and 3rd trimester you need to modify so you arent lying on your back. There are a ton of great prenatal DVDs out there. I like Prenatal Pilates with Lizbeth Garcia and…

That's fantastic! I love being a mom, it's a great gift. I'm so lucky to be able to stay-at-home, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the real world when my kids are older. For now, I'm neck high in diapers, play-doh and time outs, but I love it :)

That is fabulous! I love that they don't weigh you. It IS very stressful here. It's ridiculous having to stand on the scale every time, especially at the end when you gain and gain no matter what happens. To OP: If you're happy with your doctor then I wouldn't worry about it. Some doctors are very "strict" on the…

I used to, but a couple of months ago put the scale up. I had gained 10 lbs in a month in my 2nd trimester and it was depressing me. No need to see the number go up and have no way to get it back down. I'm also 32 weeks and since that appointment where I gained 10 lbs, I've only gained 2. I decided that for me it wasn't…

I'm with ya! 32 weeks on Sunday and I can barely get through the day. Doesn't help that I have 2 other young kids to chase after. Poor things don't get much Mommy playtime. At least we know the end is in sight!

I'm always starving during my pregnancies, especially in the first trimester. I'm thankful for no morning sickness, but not for the extra pounds I inevitably put on because I have to eat every hour. Try filling foods with lots of protein and fiber. Apples with peanut butter, cheese and whole wheat crackers, etc. And I…

CONGRATULATIONS!! It's perfectly normal to be worried. I am one of the lucky ones who have no m/s, no real tenderness, no food aversions, etc in the first trimester. Other than exhaustion I wouldn't know I was pregnant. Even though this is my THIRD pregnancy I still worry! I always remind myself that I have no control over…

With each pregnancy we had the "lets start trying" talk and got pregnant what seemed like the next day! Wish I could pass my fertility along to some who have trouble TTC.

I haven't had GD, but know several people who have. Your diet will depend on how severe your case is. Typically if you have it your OB will set you up with a nutritionist who will help you to understand the diet, how many carbs you should eat per meal, etc. It know it's important to keep a steady blood sugar level, so…

You look fantastic! You can really tell a difference in your butt/upper thigh area. Your legs are so much smoother. Way to go!

Ugh. 28 lbs at 26 weeks. I gained a lot in the 1st trimester this time around and it just keeps creeping on no matter what I do. Bah! Great job ladies!

My highest non pregnancy weight was in high school at age 16. I was 210 pounds. My highest pregnancy weight was 235 pounds.

I'd be more concerned about the bominated vegetable oil than the calories.

I'm currently pregnant and we moved just after I found out I was, so my routine went from varied to pretty boring! I do 40-90 minutes of cardio at least 4 days a week. Usually some type of machine, sometimes a DVD. Also try to incorporate some weights 2 days a week. Used to run, kickbox, spin, do tabata. Miss the variety!…

Mom to boys here in North Carolina! 2.5 years, 1 year and another one coming, due in August. I lost 65 lbs last year on MFP! Can't wait to get to goal after this baby is born :)

I agree that it really depends on the person. I am 5'7 and my lowest weight was 160 at my wedding. I was a size 12 and definitely had weight to lose. Ideally I think I'd like to be in the lower 150 range. We'll have to see!

Way to go! You look great! And I have those shoes, too! Love the black and blue! :)
