I'm a Jesuit Priest, so carnal pleasures are forbidden to me. However, I do like a good R rated movie.

Cycle your calories for 7 days. Set some goals daily, go from 1200 to your maintenance level, say: Day 1: 1200 Day 2: 2000 Day 3: 1400 so on... Try this site for some help: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm

I rarely go over, but I monitor sodium closely (blood pressure is slightly elevated). I read ALL labels and minimize salt (low fat foods) and maximize potassium (potatoes, chicken breasts, bananas, coffee).

That pain in your stomach is always a good indicator! :)

I've been using Bodylastic's now for a couple of years. They are very good. Check em' out at: http://www.bodylastics.com/ Do bands 3X a week and cardio every day that I can. Seems to work for me.

Shhh.... I'm pooping right now...

You have to be an educated consumer and KNOW what you are eating. There just is no other way.
-
Run in place while eating (just kidding). A few days of eating won't hurt in the long run.
-
You could also scale back a bit on the exercise, maybe 3X per week or so. You calorie intake will cycle, which helps to lose weight (you will also get closer to your calorie goal).

I bought a set of elastic bands for strength training (bodylastics) and ride a 20 something year old bike for cardio - works like a charm. You definitely don't have to spend a fortune - save that for new clothes!

Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing. Go figure, it has to be THOSE body parts...

The calorie limits on MFP are from equations - they are not correct for everyone. In fact, if you do the calculations with the Mifflin st jeor equations, you'll see a difference from what MFP gives you. Seems they add in a bit of over-eat so if that you eat slightly over, you will theoretically still lose. The Mifflin-St…

Weird Al Yankovic can't be wrong: Have a banana, have a whole bunch It doesn't matter what you had for lunch Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it Eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Steamed rice (about a cup) and all the steamed vegetables you want. I also go for the steamed chicken. Stay away from the fried stuff.

Could be anything from a sprained (pulled) muscle or something more serious with your back or spine. If the pain persists for a few days, get it checked out.

The bottom line is that calories is the only thing that matters when losing weight. However, nutrition is another matter!

You have to take whatever life throws at you one day at a time. Tomorrow is a new chance - don't give up. There are resources for eating disorders, please see if you can find some in your area. Good luck!

280 sq. ft = 16-3/4' x 16-3/4' That's kinda small...

I would only track these small items if it doesn't become too much of a chore, and if you don't just grab a lot of little things here and there to eat. I track "almost" everything.

You can't get away from natural sugars, if you're going to eat (especially) fruit. Unless you are on a sugar restricted diet (by your Dr.), I wouldn't worry too much.

I would be wary of any anonymous advice, from anyone. Remember, the formulas used on this site are approximations at best. I would urge anyone who has not lost weight or is struggling to see their own family doctor and/or dietitian so you can get a full physical and blood work so a proper diet can be developed just for…

The time between 6 and 9 pm, TV and snacks. I leave calories because I know I'll snack.

Remember, it's not possible to spot lose fat - you lose it all over, so be patient. It'll come off. Slow to go on and slow to come off!

Oh yeah!

Just live like a caveman, then you get both: Paleo diet (eat what you can gather or catch) and cardio from running from bears. Just find a cave somewhere remote and you're off.

I would continue to exercise and, for a week or so, eat all your calories (1200 + exercise). See how you feel. If your still tired, I would go see a nutritionist or dietitian so they can give you sample menus and maybe provide a more accurate goal than the formulas used here. If you haven't had a physical in while (blood…

As long as your total (real) caloric intake is at least 1200 for the day, your OK. Cardio burns calories, and strengthens your metabolic system.

I'm sure that spitting in an office trashcan is an industrial hygiene no-no. It's a health hazard, at least where I work - not allowed at all. I'm curious why a lab allows that?

For us fellas, it has to be the stomach area (pot belly). Goes on quick, comes off hard.
