Haha yes! Jillian Michaels gets on my nerves, so I have a playlist that I listen to when I do 30DS :) Its isn't necessarily the same rythm that they use on the video, just music that keeps me going!

I'm going to draw a tiny orange butterfly on my wrist. I have friends who have/do self-harm, so this is a topic close to my heart. You sound a lot like me! Fried foods are my very favorite, and it's SO hard to say no, especially in the south! Sometimes it seems like everybody and their momma is offering you their new fried peanut ball recipe or having you over for barbecue, or sending you a slice of the cheesecake they just made :-)

Recently began the program, and after just 5 days I can already tell a difference in stamina! A really doable program (so far :-D). I've discovered a love for running that I didn't know I had. I am going to look for a good 5k to do this spring with my friend.

I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 125. I'd like to meet this by the end of the semester at least - only 6 lbs to go, but I'd rather it come off slowly and stay off, than drop quickly and spike back like it has in the past. See the story of the Tortoise and the Hare for details ;)

My best sidekick is a coffee cup named Frank. And I have never drank coffee from him, only hot tea. My friends all call him by name... I get some weird looks from that one. (No, I don't talk to him.)

Try chewing really slowly, instead of just inhaling your food. Make your brain realize that you ARE feeding your body! Another plus about this technique: studies show that chewing your food until it's like applesauce can help you lose weight, because your body doesn't have to work so hard to digest it!
