These are two staples of the cookbook world and have easy to follow recipes for basic things like roasting chickens, making beef roasts etc. Just handy to have around for when you see that great sale on a hunk of meat but aren't quiiiiiite sure what to do with it when you get…

I take a Multivitamin and 10,000IUs of Vitamin D3 every day. My doc has me on that dose because my D3 levels were WAY low. If you are unsure, you can have a blood test to see where your levels are at - if you are in a sunny clime and you are outdoors a lot, they might not be bad. Myself, I burn like WHOA so I am super…

But gods I love yogurt.

Even with that, I still felt so sluggish in the dark part of the year. Changing my diet, I have noticed WAY more energy and less of my usual cravings for heavy, starchy foods this time…

I have had some great successes and some spectacular failures in trying out new Paleo recipes. I've always had an adventurous side with cooking though and regularly have "Experimental Food Night" where I try out new recipes or completely new foods. That, and for me, a recipe is more like a guideline rather than a set of…
