Water weight is scary! But yeah that's what it is. It'll happen around your TOM too. Not fun!

You can use zucchini noodles instead of regular noodles. If you use carrots in your recipe normally, just use less carrots or only use them for making the stock, they aren't so keto friendly. Here's a great low carb recipe: http://genaw.com/lowcarb/lc_chicken_noodle_soup.html (Lindas low carb site is one of my favs!)…

@eneild Minnesota is beautiful, I visited there a few times and loved it! The nature, the trees, the friendly people, it all reminded me of home :)

I'm in Washington but am from Atlantic Canada.

It works. If you're interested in it, just do some research over at /r/keto and the many other communities and try it out.

I LOVE FALL!! I know I'm one of "those" people but I don't care, I love the pumpkin spice muffins, lattes, cozy sweaters, snow, I love it all! I'm so excited.. haha. My morning coffee is going to change as soon as I find myself some pumpkin spice, or pumpkin flavored syrup!

Almond butter is generally the safest thing to have as it usually has more fiber, lowering the net carb content. "No added sugar" is tricky; it can mean "this contains sugar from the peanuts, but we didn't add any more". My favorite is the "wild friends" brand of peanut butters. They are generally low on sugar and packed…

5ft 7 Sw: 308 Cw: 255 Gw: 150 Scale has been bouncing around between 252 - 255 all week. I haven't lost much lately but pants are definitely a lot looser so maybe I've gained some muscle.

I'm here to listen to the answers as well. I use the Torani sugar free syrups in my coffee which are sweetened with splenda. I have Hazelnut and Vanilla. I love them! Holy crap they have almond, lemon and lime flavors. This could chang emy world.. I had no idea!!…

Karl - I slowly lower each egg down into the pot with a spoon because I'm afraid any bump will crack the egg. Maybe the warm water thing was my problem the whole time, lol. In any case I prefer them scrambled!

Oh, I missed the not being able to take pills part, woops.

Fathead pizza would be great too! You could make garlic bread sticks with it.

5ft 7 Sw: 308 Cw: 256 Gw: 150 Another daily weigh-er checking in. I love it cause I get to see my "real" weight vs my "weird hormonal shark week" weight, which happens to be todays weight. I know when I jump 3-4lbs it's about to start. Any more than that and I'd be gunning for a pregnancy test, lol.

I went very strict Keto before my dental surgery and especially during the healing process. The dentist said the way I was healing was exceptional and even wanted to take pictures. I don't get headaches often anymore unless I stray from my diet. I 100% believe eating low carb and healthier in general really helps fight…

Everyone's ignoring what you said - LIQUID TYLENOL. Liquid medications are always sweetened so they don't taste like crap going down. There's a LOT of sugar in them which yes, knocked you out of ketosis. Liquid Nyquil and Dayquil are also repeat offenders. It doesn't help that the bottles don't show nutrition information…

What about an oopsie roll toasted with garlic spread? The costco garlic spread is low carb and heavenly. http://www.tasteaholics.com/recipes/low-carb-keto/basic-oopsie-rolls/ This bun recipe looks good and can be made as a bread if you don't want it looking like a roll.…

Something that keeps you full - chicken salad lettuce wraps. If you're doing low carb, this is something you can have and it's lower in calories that way too. Otherwise you can eat it with whole wheat bread, in a pita, or whatever bread you choose. This one is similar to what I make:…

Ok.. other than fathead and cauliflower pizza crusts, something super, super simple for just starting out is cutting english muffins in half and spreading on pizza sauce on top of it (not toasted), adding toppings then baking them. Mini pizzas! You could do whole wheat ones which might be ok. I used to add BBQ sauce and…

If you eat fruit frozen grapes are good, and the faux "ice cream sandwich" recipe from sparkpeople is really good too. Two graham crackers with light whipped cream in the middle, frozen then cut into sandwich shapes. Great snack.

Breyers carb smart ice cream topped with either sugar free hot fudge from smuckers (other kinds I tried I didn't' like) OR sprinkled with cinnamon is my all time fav. I haven't found halo top yet but I've tried arctic zero and it tasted like freezer burn :(

This is a really good question, there's loads of recipes for fat bombs but not so many protein bombs! Some of these look freezer friendly: http://greatist.com/eat/high-protein-dessert-recipes

This sounds so dreamy :)

SW: 308 (highest known weight) CW: 254 GW: 150 Made some bad meal choices, gained a little, but got back on the wagon since I can cook again. Down 3lbs from my highest weight this month but still have a ways to go to get out of the 250s. Lots of walking every day this week and last week helped.

@KnitOrMiss I agree with you, I find if I have a "sweeter" chocolate, say 70-85%, I'm more likely to eat a full serving or more of it. A full milk chocolate bar, I could continuously eat those. Once you start getting into the 90% range and up it gets harder and harder to eat a lot of it due to the bitter flavor.

I actually ended up shopping in my old closet picking up jeans that "used to fit" that now fit again :) Some people like to go to thrift stores to pick up a pair of goal jeans. With this WOE you'll blow through sizes quick, lol. I find myself wearing leggings plus my pants to get more wear out of them. The leggings prevent…

Can't watch it yet but can confirm carb addiction is very real. I can easily sit down and pound back a whole bag of family sized chips if I let myself. Especially Doritos or pringles. I haven't bought chips in a year or two. The only thing left that gets me is popcorn, especially at the movies. I don't like any substitutes…

I've had plenty of those days in June/July and while I gained weight, I'd just go back on track the next day to attempt to balance it out. I ended up in maintenance which wasn't so bad. We were moving and it was extremely stressful so we'd end up exhausted, stressed out and couldn't cook so we'd end up with take out.…

I love their 90% chocolate with a cup of tea that will compliment it (something sweet to balance the bitterness), or shaved over vanilla ice cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I have 2 squares almost every night to have in bed while hubby is mowing down a bag of chips, an ice cream bar or some high carb treat. He's one of…

My favorite rewards are - getting my nails done, massages (I haven't had one yet, saved for the 60lb mark), meals that are lower in carbs but higher than normal, or extra rich with more fat then normal, a low carb starbucks drink with HWC and sugar free syrup, bath bombs, lavender bath salts/bubble bath, books, clothing,…

That's a great site, wow my kids multivitamin is terrible :(
