  • Both me and my husband both wake up in the middle of the night for a bathroom break. Most likely it's because we are drinking a lot of fluids before bedtime, him with pop and me with tea. Between tea, coffee, and water I have to take quite a few breaks in the day.

  • Great article, and I like the keto food pyramid at the bottom. I thought I was fasting every day until 11am but turns out adding HWC to my coffee in the AM ruins the fast.   • Confession time.. last week I made rice crispy squares for my husband but instead of rice crispies I used some sort of coca flakes cereal. I snuck a square and it was like eating marshmellow oreos. I have to make capn crunch ones next and am going to stay as far away from them as possible.
  • I order steak and chicken fajitas and I don't eat them in a tortilla, I just eat it as a sort of stir fry. I ask for veggies instead of rice and beans and I haven't had anyone say anything. I still eat the guac, sour cream and a little salsa. No chips. It's like a chipoltle bowl times 10.

  • Better for you as in - you're eating smaller quantities of it (flour/yeast/salt) since it takes 1/2 the muffin to make 1 small pizza and it's not "Take out pizza" - greasy pan fried pizza dough from pizza hut or whatever. They cook their pizzas in a cup of oil.

  • This is a really interesting thread. I had no idea that you had to increase sodium so much if you increased your water intake. And here I was proud of getting in my 8 glasses of water a day.. lol.

  • It's so good when it's done up like potatoes! I like it because it fits my macros and my calorie goals - potatoes don't. This thread is about alternatives so that is one of my favorite alternatives. It does make a good snack raw on it's own too though.
