Oh my god that would be amazing. Talk about hitting your protein goals for the day.

I agree with what the others have said here, add more fats and protein until you don't feel hungry anymore. For the first couple weeks I only tracked carbs, not calories. I ate until I was full. I snacked on almonds, DARK chocolate (90% or more), beef jerky. I ate loads of veggies, bunless burgers, cauliflower mash, twice…

Wonderful, good for you!!

Nice! I just found a bunch of different Kroger versions of those drink mixes too. The Cherry/Limeade energy one is my favorite so far. http://cdn.foodfacts.com/images/products/214250.png Right now at my desk at work I'm drinking crystal lights blackberry lemonade drink mix and it's pretty good too. Helps me get my water in!

I replaced regular pasta with zucchini noodles. I never did drink soda but if you do there's always the diet sodas available. I drink a lot of water with crystal light or mio flavorings.

There's so many hormone problems for women when it comes to tracking weight. If its shark week, it's a guaranteed 3-5lb gain for me, but even during ovulation like you mentioned sometimes I'd get spikes there too. Weight is never linear so I tend to weight every day and log only when I reach a new lower number. Like OP I…

I haven't found Halo Top but I've heard their Lemon Cake and Birthday cake flavors are amazing! I've tried Arctic Zero and it was like licking freezer burn.

Craving / Substitute Ice cream / Breyers Carb Smart ice cream Chocolate / 90% Lindt dark chocolate Chips / Parsnip Chips (trader joes or whole foods sell them), almonds also satisfy my crunch cravings. Habenaro BBQ and salt and vinegar are my jam. Pizza / Fathead pizza, cauliflower pizza, or 1/2 an english muffin baked…

Veggies! I love broccoli and cauliflower. I'm a cauliflower nut, lol. Romaine lettuce, avocados, celery, all good options. If you're trying to get more fiber because you're constipated, you have to watch your dairy intake as well. Too much dairy will back you up something awful :(

A lot of people at my work go for a short walk on their lunch break.

- You own multiple flavors of sugar free syrup - You keep almonds, dark chocolate and beef jerky in your night stand - You buy almonds in 1lb bags - You know what malitol is and run in the opposite direction of anything containing it. Might even have flashbacks of horrific experiences. - You know that almond milk is just…

I gain/lose every day depending on what I've eaten and how much has.. stuck around. It's perfectly normal. I tend to hold more water weight if I eat more carbs and it def shows up on the scale the next AM. Be careful to not starve yourself either, continue on with your diet, stick to your plan and it will even out.

I'm sorry you're going through this but you cannot "make" anyone want to better themselves, they have to come to that decision on their own. If you focus on yourself and only make healthy food he may come around and eat what you're eating and slowly start adapting better habits. If the junk food is harder for him to get to…

I have dark chocolate almost every week, as long as it fits in your calories it isn't a "cheat" :) Can you find foods that fit into your diet that won't break your calorie bank but still give you something sweet? How about sugar free jello, almonds, parsnip chips etc? Higher carb meals are my "cheat" meals that I save for…

Anything you'd use regular flour in pretty much. Bread, cookies, cake, brownies, bread, muffins, crackers..

WOOHOO!! Congrats!!

I try to limit my carbs to below 100g a day, restrict all sugar and have been successful. I had the most success with Keto; it's true that you do lose weight fast but for me I needed a break after 6 months of very low carb. I have upped my carb limit to 100g and have been doing that for a few weeks now. Losing weight has…

If you're not on some sort of low carb diet what about using a pita pocket for your base and load up on toppings? Less wheat/flour than normal pizzas. I ate a lot of pita pizzas growing up. If you want a more veggie base I've seen people use shredded zucchini to make pizza crust too, or sliced eggplant made into mini…

This is completely unrelated to the OP but you reminded me of the WW that's by my old house. It was positioned in between a Lindt store and a burger place. I'm not sure if it was intentional to make sure they always had repeat business for both sides or what! LOL

Red Robin (and most places) will lettuce wrap their burgers if you ask. You can also get broccoli for a side instead of fries, and if you want an app they will swap tortilla chips out for celery or mixed veg of some sort. I got the spinach dip with celery sticks. The only low carb thing at the old spaghetti factory is…

That looks really good!

I keep a giant bag of mixed veggies in the freezer for quick meals and usually cook them with a frozen patty of some sort. I also buy canned pulled pork and canned chicken and make chicken salad or pulled pork fillings with that. If you're looking for something easy peasy microwave only I'd suggest checking out those…

You can provided it's not a sweet wine, and as others have said whatever alcohol you ingest will be the first to burn so it just means you lose at a slower rate since your body is playing catch up. I've also noticed that I've become a cheap drunk and half a glass of wine is more than enough for me now.

I'm joining in on this and upping my steps by 2k per day :)

Yeah, it would make a big difference in drinks which are mostly milk, like a latte or Misto. A grande latte w/coconut milk is 15g of carbs so for me that would eat up almost my whole daily allowance of carbs and I couldn't ever get one. If I used HWC instead of milk I'd be taking a big hit on my calorie goal so I couldn't…

No change from last Wednesday for me. Boo. Upping my steps for Sept to see if that helps.
-
Ugh I know, I looked up their nutritional information before ordering and was disappointed that it wasn't unsweetened coconut milk. I usually get HWC in my coffee but if I wanted a lattee that's a heavy hit to my calories for the day.
-
If you're making it at home, you can make it with a tbsp or two of heavy whipping cream (I like to froth mine before pouring in coffee). You can add sugar free syrups to it too if you feel like something sweet. You can also try unsweetened coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk. If you go to Starbucks in the US, I just…

What kind of cracker, a salted plain cracker, a plain unsalted cracker, a ritz cracker..? If I chew on a salted cracker of course it will start to taste different once the salt dissolves. This doesn't sound like science but sounds like some guy who wants to sell more crackers.
