Thank you all. I am trying to look on the positive side. I guess I keep comparing myself to people who have been doing it for a while and that is what is discouraging me. I am going to try to stop doing that.

I am training for a 5K too and so far can only do 5K in 49:52, but that is walking and running (very slowly), the plan is to straight up run tomorrow.

I've always wondered about the knee/toe thing. Everyone always tell me to not let my knees go past my toes when doing squats so I had just given up doing squats because I didn't think I could ever do it right, now that I've seen this I'm thinking about starting the challenge back up in May
