Ice will help and ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory so will help too. And Drink lots of water. Also, you may want to do some light exercise like walking to loosen up the muscle a little bit. Take a few days off 30DS and just do walking etc and then go back to it. If you don't feel any improvement by day 3 (the second day…

I am not an expert in anyway - but from what I've read in other forums when you start a new intense workout like Insanity your muscles may retain water as they are adjusting and repairing themselves. I would suggest looking through the forums or Google to find out more. That being said, I'm in week 4 of Insanity and have…

I would suggest starting to eat back your exercise calories. And if your goal is only 1200 calories, this may be your body telling you it's not enough. If you are actually hungry then you should listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs.

I am addicted to this site (for example - I should be working right now :)). I do travel for work so there are weeks here and there where I'm not on, but try to cheer on all my friends. Feel free to add me.

I got my champion at Sports Chek and love it. I've also have a bunch of good ones from Lululemon, although they are pricier.

Anyone can feel free to add me... I'm going through a motivated streak, but having mfp friends has really helped me find that motivation and I know I'll need it even more when life happens and tries to get in the way. :) I always try to be positive and supportive too.

It takes work, but cooking and taking your lunch to work (and snacks) really helps and I've been able to net at least 1200 (and according to my HRM I'm burning over 600 most days with Insanity). I try to plan ahead too... sometimes putting a full day into mfp in the morning to see how many more calories I need and then add…

bump... I'm interested too! I'm excellent at home, but terrible at events or traveling. And I travel frequently for work, so some tips would be great.

Maybe just let them know that you are looking to get healthy and if anyone else is already trying or wants that you like to ge ta challenge going for motivation. A few of us did this when we finished school and wanted to shed some of the weight we gained while we were sitting on our butts studying... We checked in once a…

This happens to me when I use the elliptical or the stationary bike... I haven't noticed any other time and don't have any pain. It's just weird and kind of distracting.

My diary is public, and I try to log every day (whether it's a good day or a bad day), but sometimes have a hard time when traveling. Feel free to add me. :)
