  • I've always loved this joke!
  • I was dumbfounded when I found out other states put weights on licenses. Lack of weight on licenses in PA is one of the few reasons I say it's a good state.
  • I met my husband on plenty of fish. We've been together 3 years so far.
  • At this point in my life - what I really want is; children. I'm at an unhealthy weight for pregnancy and even though people my weight get pregnant and give birth to healthy babies, I would still prefer to lose weight first. & that is why I'm doing this.
  • Sometimes I log it; sometimes I don't. Sometimes I eat it; sometimes I don't. Sometimes I reply to this question; sometimes I don't. I have my profile set to make it look like I do diddly squat all day long, because my job had entailed a butt load of sitting. And now I'm a SAHW and I still tend to do nothing, because I…
  • I've never really gotten comments about my weight from strangers. From kids? Once. At my old job, a little girl looked up at me and then turned to her Mom and goes "Mommy, I thought you said all girls were pretty?" I was mad at the Mother. That poor child didn't know any better and even if she did? It was her Mother who…
  • I would take a red boiled potato + helluva good dip + redbeet egg + bacon bits and mash them all together. & it is still one of my favorite meals ever. LOL. I was a pro at eating weird combos. I used to drink orange juice while I ate pickles; I can't do that anymore. My stomach cannot handle all the acid.
  • I used to hate oatmeal. It did taste like paste. I've rediscovered that I like oatmeal from packets. At 8am at work. While I'm starving and have nothing else to eat. Everything always tastes better when you have no other options. lol. I buy the apple + cinnamon kind from quaker. Love love love them! I add water and not…
  • I'm trying to log on bad days. I used to not, then I'd forget on good days too. We recently went to Hooters yesterdays. I learned how many calories were in what we ate. And now I don't think I'll ever step foot in there again! Sometimes, it might be good to track on bad days just to see, because it might be something you…
  • I can't drink diet soda. The fake sugar in it gets to me. It might be the caffeine. I went from rarely drinking soda, to moving and drinking soda all the freaking time! And now back to not drinking it at all. So it very well could be! Before, I used to try to pick caffeine free sodas and then just started drinking w/e, so…
  • Please don't assume I have no idea what I'm doing. Because I do. And before you start assuming, why don't you try asking questions first. Or reading. I said I had a CRAVING for chocolate. I didn't say I eat it 24/7. I didn't say I even ate it once a day. I said it's what I'm craving. I also said I UPPED my fruit intake, as…
  • Thanks guys for al the great replies! I'm pretty good at pinpointing what my body is lacking when I start craving something, but the intense craving for chocolate after quitting soda really threw me for a loop. As I don't even really like chocolate. I think I will some of your suggestions and see if I can get myself away…
  • I do eat some chocolate...but it's almost a constant craving and I don't want to eat chocolate 24/7 as, that'd be slightly bad. haha. I just sort am trying to see if maybe it's all in my head that I want this or if the lack of soda displaced to somewhere else.
  • I add people every once in awhile. And then I get off track of using MFP or I get on quickly to check something and then get off. I do try to leave comments for people. By the same token, I don't get upset if people don't leave me comments. But I add people sometimes just to watch them change because they're doing awesome…
  • Do you have a smart phone? If so, get an app. Do you have an MP3 player? If so, download a podcast. Do you have a watch? Use that. You could probably pick up a really cheap watch with a timer/stopwatch at a dollar store if you don't already have one. ^^----In my other post I did say I found an app.
  • Hmm, I don't have an Iphone, but I do have a blackberry and I think I found an app for that!
  • Thank you everyone for your input! <3 My only question about C25K (I've checked out the website before) is, how in the heck do you time yourself?! I know the easy answer is "stop watch" but what if you don't have one? Mental count down?
  • I have animals. One is cat; named Ninja. He's a tuxedo cat. Max is an orange cat (I was 9 when I got him, I thought Max was the stupidest name in the world. It still sort of is, but that's what 9 year old me wanted). My Dog's name is JoJo. She was named after the Pizza shop in town with the same name. None of them eat…
  • I'm Holly. I'm around 330 pounds; you can add me! I wanna get to at least 230!
  • worms. My crock put is currently sitting upside down on the side lawn. =/
  • 99.8% of the time, I do NOT log cleaning as exercise. I even wash all my dishes by hand a few nights a week and I do not add it. I, too, have a desk job and sit on my butt for hours on end during the day. So cleaning, I suppose, could be argued that it can be added. For me, it all depends on your level of cleaning. Are you…
  • Hi Gail! I'm Holly and my one year of marriage is coming up in May! I'm striving to look good for it! Feel free to add me!
  • Personally, I don't count drinks based with water as water. It seems as though, to me, it would be way to easy to keep drinking coffee or koolade (not that we would; oh no!) because then my brain would process it as "okay" to drink. I only add pure, unaltered, water to my water intake. Tea, from a tea bag, is debatable.…
  • You look GREAT! That is a super noticeable difference!! I saved your picture to my desk top to see the full before and after since it did cut it off. But it will be deleted; no worries, you wont be hanging out on my desk top. *I just don't want you to think I'm weird* haha
  • I have always heard that backwards running is good for you because it lessens the stress. I am not entirely sure how well it can be done without tripping, but that might just be me. I have tried it a time or two and I do find it easier to do, in short spurts.
