  • It really depends on you and your body. I work out in the morning before I eat. I cannot eat before going to the gym so in the evening I have a granola bar maybe an hour or so before working out.

  • See I came up with a knack of when i see that stuff I convert it in my head the calories. So instead of seeing CAKE I see 365 calories and 30 mins of hard elliptical work! That usually steers me right away.

  • I weigh myself every 3 months when I go to the doctor. Otherwise I can become wrapped up in the numbers. If you feel it is taking over put the scale away and do your thing. Make it a special thing once a week.
  • I tried it and completely didn't like it. I did feel it was like standing in line picking which one you thought wasn't crazy, was your type, was good looking, etc etc. I just really like the old fashioned way of meeting people. i gave up on it, the time I spent online I could have been here or at the gym!

  • I go 6 times a week around 6:00 each night. i stay for an hour. I also workout in the mornings at home for about a half hour. I normally go by myself on Sunday's is my lazy gym day I go with a friend who is older and has had hip replacement surgery to motivate her.

  • Obsessed and completely addicted to working out. I absolutely love going to the gym and working out at home. i work out 2 times a day and always want more. I am also 100% completely addicted to eat healthy,I love it wouldn't want to be any other way.

  • I agree with all of the above. I would definitely ask someone at the gym to go over it with you. It's a great machine and can do alot for you but it's always better to have someone show you in person.
  • Watch you speed that you are going at and your breathing. Build it up so maybe 2 mins then walk 2 mins then see if you can do 3 mins and so forth.
  • Great job. I too lose very slow. I will drop and then it will slow down to a snails pace. I say as long as it keeps coming off my body keeps changing I continue. And even when it doesn't come off I will continue. :-)

  • I happen to like Chimay which is a whooping 265 calories a serving. So when I want one I have one but it is very very sparingly. (I think the last time I treated myself was a few months ago) and then I make sure I work it off the next day.
