I still wonder about the best one for laps when swimming. Some have suggested the polar F4 for laps but would it get messed up from water to land and vice versa?

Any suggestions where the best buy for the polar 4F would be...and thanks everybody for your ideas...i hate to buy something and realize it was the wrong thing or there was something much better for my particular exercise

water aerobics is great....if you can find a gym and have access to a pool, they usually offer water aerobics or water pilates.... swimming or anything in the water is non impact and easy on the joints
