If you are looking to still have a hot meal - Do what they did in the land before microwaves: Store it in a thermos! Soup, Chilli, Stirfry, leftovers..... you name it! In the morning before work, heat it up really hot and stick it in your thermos :)

A nice new scale should fix it! Also you shouldn't be weighing yourself everyday, you will drive yourself crazy. Weigh yourself once a week at the same time, same scale each time :)
