Thanks for this! I will definitely look into it but I really like the accountability of having a program and the feeling of finishing it. It's what really helps me to keep going when I can keep making of days on the calendar. A 60-70 day program is pretty good for me because I don't get burnt out (unless I hate the…

Lol you definitely weren't. I thought everyone else that liked it must have been crazy. I would much rather do one insanity workout than one T25. You are definitely right about feeling accomplished after it (even just one workout). There's something about feeling completely dead after those workouts that make me feel so…

Wow... this is my dream. I wish I were taller :( I love eating.

You look amazing! And I understand how you feel :)

Awesome!!! Thank you so much! Your words are encouraging. I also drink out of stress and boredom. I like the club soda and vodka idea.

Lol, I know you're right. I have some Zaggora HotPants that can keep me pretty warm I just don't have any desire whatsoever to run outside when it's so cold out. Haha. When it's 40 degrees or more then I'll want to. :)

A heart rate monitor will give you a more accurate reading of calories burned while working out. I use my Garmin Forerunner 620 with HRM for all of my workouts. I love it. Garmin also has a device like the FitBit. It's called vivoFit. I'm not sure on the price but I think it's pretty comparable to the price of it's…

Hahaha. Oh I'm definitely doing it. I'm just going to have to have to learn to relax some other way. Once it warms up a little more and I can go for more runs it will be easier.

I agree, I'm not doing this challenge to never drink again. (I fully intend to enjoy some margaritas on the beach in 92 days. hehe) But, I do get a craving to "relax" via drinking when Saturday comes around and I want to kick that craving. I can only do it by not drinking for a longer period of time. And yes, I definitely…

Thanks for the tip, nathanrhea! I am also looking forward to spending a lot less money on drinks the night of and food the next day. haha. Yikes, elisa123gal! Haha. I hope that doesn't happen to me! Unless it's gaining muscle... then I guess that's cool. :) I have a feeling I'm going to have to do a lot more running to…

Oh yeah! I'm at 1200 per day and on top of that I workout and usually burn 400-500c. Even if I only eat 1200 I'm not usually hungry and I eat a heck of a lot more than the OP. I would be angry and hungry too. haha

That doesn't sound like 1200 or 1500-1600 cals to me... Are you tracking properly? This sounds like more around the 500-700 calorie range depending on what you eat for dinner. Eggs and toast are probably only 200 cals (if that). Lunch around 200 or less. Dinner... I have no idea but by the portion size it doesn't sound…

I have what feel like GIANT thighs also. Cardio has always helped me to get the fat off (obviously). I used to use the AMT machine at the gym (it's similar to an elliptical). Squats alone won't do much in thinning them but squats and cardio would help. I suggest lunges too. There are lots of different "thigh thinning"…

Oh also, lately, I've really been craving chocolate so I'll make hot chocolate. A regular hot chocolate packet, for the liquid I do half water (I actually do 4 oz) and half fat free milk (4 oz), and then add in some of the Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials - Chocolate (not a full serving - I just add a tablespoon or…

I am the same way. I can't have sweets in the house. That's the most logical and easiest thing I can do for myself because I can't say no. Also, I keep my meals during the day filling but low-cal so I do have more calories in the evening. My breakfast is usually coffee + greek yogurt or coffee + egg whites and toast. Lunch…

I'm in!!! My goal is 20! :-D Maybe we should have a 100 day challenge group.

I'm 5'4 with a "natural" Athletic/Medium build. Broader shoulders, smaller waist, muscular legs. When I was younger (and not working out) I was 120 and I really just looked too skinny then. I have set my goal weight for 120 but being that I workout more now than I did then I think I will probably adjust my weight up by…

I know a lot of people that absolutely LOVE T25... personally, I am not one of them. Beta was MUCH better than Alpha but it still couldn't keep my interest. I prefer Insanity over T25. I would rather do 1 hr workouts 6 days a week than 25 minute workouts (1 Mon-Thur, 2 on Fri) 5 days a week. They just simply weren't for me…

Great job, girl! You look incredible!

Thanks! Just have to stay focused now :)

I'm hoping to be at my goal weight in September as well! :) Good luck!

I've just recently become a little more active in the community portion. I've joined a few groups but there hasn't been a ton of activity in the ones I'm in.

It does get lonely! And for no reason since there are TONS of people on here. :)

Thank you! :)

Thank you so much! :)

1. I totally understand how you feel. Sometimes I feel the same way and then what do you know I'm back to losing weight again. 2. One thing I read about HRM is that the Max HR that they go off of is the average for your height and weight. To get an accurate Max HR you should go to your Dr. Once you have that you will…

Awesome! Welcome! I'm trying to lose weight for my trip in May as well. Not just for my trip because it continues after but... it is to an island so I definitely want to look better by then. haha
-
That's great!! I have what I feel like are "larger" limbs haha. So when I see my wrists/forearms shrinking I can really tell that I'm losing weight. As weird as that sounds! Congratulations!!!
-
Hey there! It's okay if you fall as long as you get back up! :) I've done the same thing. I'm getting back up now. I feel like I've been down for long enough. It really sucks to feel like you're starting over again... but we all know how much MORE it sucks to be in that bad place and the only way to get out of it is to put…

I'm sending you a request! I feel like I'm in a similar place and frame of mind as you are. Today I actually put "meeting makers" on my calendar at work to remind me of my weight goals. 8:00AM every Friday I get a reminder of the weight I should be at assuming that I'm losing 1 lb per week (totally reasonable). I did that…
