  • I don't see how he could have disagreed with you that a class shouldn't start 25 minutes late. I mean, it SHOULDN'T. Do you think maybe you may have accidentally given him the impression that you were blaming him or attacking him?
  • I only know two kinds of lettuce--the tasteless kind and the bitter kind. Are there others that are more appealing?
  • It could be something very serious, but keep in mind that it could be something rather benign. I know dogs can get goiter (an enlarged thyroid), which may or may not require treatment.
  • Yeah, those NutriSystem ads were definitely bucking the trend--and it worked on me. I signed up for their program. (I quit after a while. It was not what I thought it would be.) You also see food ads targeted at men that tout big, hearty portions, lots of meat, and so on. Of course, advertising doesn't exactly mirror the…
  • I had a rabbit that lived to be 11 years old. I don't think we ever had his teeth cleaned. • "Starvation mode" won't hit you just because you didn't eat EVERY SINGLE ONE of your exercise calories. I think if you're eating regularly, and you feel like you've had enough food, you should be fine. There's no need to eat more than you want just to reach the magic number.
  • For the best health benefits, you're supposed to excercise in 20+ minute chunks, but walking any distance burns calories because it takes energy. I think you should log that extra walking. Edited to add: It's not going to be a whole lot of calories -- I would guess maybe 150 per day.
