The thing I am noticing... "I eat UP TO 1200 calories"... You need to eat a minimum of 1200 calories and even more if when you exercise. Your body needs the calories to survive. If you are not eating enough calories, you body will start holding on to them...

this is the best time for you to do it! Trust me, I've been there. My husband (soon to be ex) just retired from the Air Force in November. I lost 30 lbs when he was deployed over to Korea for a year. This is a great time to do for you...and it sets GREAT healthy eating habits and fitness ideals in your sons head too...…

I saw that post... too funny! My opinion has been the same as most everyone else's. Our LIVES are what has for the most part created our eating problems and weight problems. Sometimes knowing what people are experiencing helps us to lead them in the direction they need too to fight their weight problems...

You CAN do it! Keep your focus on the things you want and the goals you set and you will succeed! good Luck!

Have you tried the green bags? They REALLY DO work! Produce seems to last several weeks with them. Another option for keeping fresh in the house...
-
Mint tea might be a good option too as long as there is not sugar added to it... Decaf is better too as the caffeine is what usually causes the body to retain water...

I have used my fat free or sugar free pudding cups to dip apples into also...LOL. Or pretzel sticks.

I was going to note the same thing. Gatorade is contributing to 21g of her sugar. Replace that with water, or as I have been doing because our Tap Water is terrible and I can't afford to spend the money on bottled water, I use Crystal Light Sugar Free mix... one tub to a gal. (Versus the half gallon that one tub makes).…

That's awesome!

outstanding job!

I fix the soup, I eat it for breakfast with a serving of cottage cheese or fruit...eat it for lunch with fresh fruit... then I eat a bowl with a sensible dinner (lean meat, healthy carb, etc). It helps me to shed the extra pounds I gain, and helps flush my system without being so harsh to my body.... I couldn't do it the…

Actually, pickles are about 5 calories per spear... 20 calories per whole pickle. And VERY high in sodium...

I was thinking the same thing! I did that the other night. Had planned on taking a day off to rest, but was soooo hungry when I got home from work that I did my strength training challenge so I could eat...LOL.

If you can't differentiate the difference, than I truly suggest that you drink a glass of water first... if after 20 minutes you are still feeling hungry, then eat an apple or a high fiber healthy snack and wait another 20 minutes. In most cases, if you are not not truly ready for a full meal, that will be suffice, but if…

the whole "muscle weighs more than fat" is meant that by Mass or the amount of space that it takes up, muscle weighs more than fat. For instance, a pound of lean muscle will be a lot smaller than a one pound sponge... Everyone knows a pound is a pound... you just have to look at it as the difference in composition and how…

You have come to the right place! Set up your profile, Calculate your BMI & BMR numbers, set up your meal goals and LOG EVERY SINGLE THING you put into your mouth. Sounds to me like you may also want to log WHY you felt you needed to eat, how you were feeling emotionally before eating, during eating, and how you felt…

Yes, Drink a BIG glass of water and go for a walk! Keep drinking your water, it will help you to feel full. Good job at keeping your choices good and resisting the urge to overeat! YOU CAN DO IT!

Today's NOT over, but so far my calories are GREAT... and healthy considering I don't have a lot in the house right now and I don't get paid til next week. Will end the day under goal (based on workout calories burned) yet still in a healthy range. I got up this morning, headed to Curves before it was too late and I just…

I got my "ticker" set to measure my steps calculated for my exercises, but now, how do I update it? Can't seem to figure that part out...LOL.

OH how I miss Ross.... I used to work at the one in Panama City FL... but left there for TJ Maxx cause they gave me more hours and more pay...but i HATED HATED HATED TJ Maxx and REFUSE to shop there now...

Not totally true...that is why they change the positions of the machines every month...so you are NOT doing the same exact routine each and every time. And, the recovery stations can be used to do many exercises. Jumping jacks, boxing, dance steps, side bends, torso twists, mimic jump roping, marching in place, whatever…

That's how I am calculating it. My job requires me to be on my feet anywhere from 4-8 hours a day.... I gained the weight while working the same job, so the whole idea is to INCREASE your workouts. Keeping everything the same is NOT going to benefit us. Great job in getting an additional 1.6 miles in. I was "going" to walk…

Fruits are high in natural sugar which turns into carbs...so go for my veggies...

Our Tap water is TERRIBLE where i live and I can't afford to buy bottled water all the time, so I too use Crystal Light Lemonade. I dilute it in half though. One tub is to make a half gallon, but I use one tub per gallon of water... it still taste good.

I was looking through your food journal... maybe try eating more fresh or steamed veggies in place of some of the carbs. It looks like your carb in take is a bit high daily. Also, I noticed you do not have any thing but a few Coke Zero's listed... WATER, WATER, WATER... a good calculation to know how much water, drink 1/2…

Use Dark Chocolate Chips...they are healthier for our hearts than Milk Chocolate. As long as you only eat one cookie or maybe two at the most each day, the amount of dark chocolate would be more of a benefit than hindering your health in my opinion.

I workout at Curves where I do circuit training... there has been MANY MANY days that I have not felt like going, but once I get up there and start, it only usually take me a half time around the circuit to really start feeling into it again... my pace picks up and I really burn those calories. Afterward, I focus on how…

OK, that just made me laugh! We had a dog, but unfortunately because I'm living with my grandfather while I go through my divorce, we do not have the dog with us. My daughter is devastated that we can't have her, as Lucy is her best friend and gives her comfort. but until I can get a full time job or at least another job…
