I just started looking for workout videos this week, but the ones I found that I have been doing are both BeFit

After my first pregnancy i sold all my xxxl materinity clothes because i told myself that by the time i had another kid, i was going to need a much smaller size. But then 3 years later i was pregnant again and still the same size and had to buy more maternity clothes. That said, I have always kept my fat clothes just in…

I always had the thoughts in my head that I wanted to lose weight so I could feel sexy and confident, be attractive to my husband, and set a good example for my kids. I also wanted to have the energy to get up and out and PLAY with my kids instead of sit on the couch all day watching TV and playing video games like my dad…

Way to go!! I struggle with that too...I will go a day being good and then go back to eating everything in sight.

Ive been married 5 years and we have seperate bank accounts. We each pay for designated things. I'm not sure that this is the best way for us, but it is how it is, and I doubt he would ever considered having a joint one. Sometimes it is a bit irritating when something out of the ordinary comes up how to decide who pays for…

Wow! I can't believe I have gotten so many replies! Thank you! It seems like over and over I am hearing "If he didnt want you, he wouldn't be there." I know he loves me and wants to be with me. I know he wants me to be healthier and happier. But I also know he has told me, more than once, that I am not physically…

Maybe you are refering to "You Are What You Eat?" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Are_What_You_Eat I remember watching that. I thought it was fascinating. They would put all the food out on a table that your family eats in a week and it was always a ton of junk. Really put it in perpective! There was another one I saw,…

Im the same...we always ate boxed stuff and went out to eat a lot. Even now, my husband does the shopping and buys mostly prepackaged box stuff because it is cheaper and easier (his words, not mine). Even if he buys a bit of healthy stuff, I dont know how to prepare it, and usually he wont eat it anyway. I used to look for…

OMG this brought back memories...All throughout elementary and middle school, I delt with stuff like the BOOM BOOM. Here's a few I can think of from Kindergarten to 8th grade in no particular order: *When I walked, people would overdramatically step several feet out of the way, making comments about how I was going to plow…

Same here...I dont really know if anyone has ever said anything when I'm walking, but in my mind I imagine they do. For years I didnt work out at all because I didnt want anyone, even my husband to see me. I still have when he sees me jumping and panting and flopping all over the living room, but I'll do it. It will be…

Kids are so honest...My daughter says things like "Look mom that tractor is big like you!" and "Mommy has a big butt." Last night it was "Daddy is itty bitty but mommy is not." (My husband is 130, im 230).

Holy crap people totally missing the point of the OP....No one said you have to look like crap, no one said you have to wash off your makeup if you go to the gym after work...and to criticize the OP for noticing and saying SHE isnt working hard enough makes no sense at all! She was pretty much making fun of girls who use…

OK I will just reply to myself since no one else is...

Makes sense to me. Some people, like me, get too overwhelmed with trying to drastically change and plan out diet and excersize. I dont know how many times I have spend and hour or more coming up with a plan and then never following it because it was just too much. If a scheduled workout is not realistially going to be…

I'm 5 ft 4in and I would be happy with 150, however I was 235 at my heaviest and it would be cool to say I lost 100 pounds but like i said, 150 would feel great right now.
-
Oh, ok. Thanks! And here I was worried it would be some answer that I couldnt understand.

I agree. If people know I am dieting, they will make uneducated or unwanted comments. For example, there is a Biggest Loser competition going on at work right now, and I hear the other girls talking to each other and encouraging each other to stay on track by not eating lunch or other things that, since joining mfp, I know…

When I was 235, I wore a size 24. Now I am 210 and I wear a 16. Those are different brands, though. I used to wear Faded Glory from Walmart because they were cheap and came in a big enough size. Now I wear pants from Maurice's because they still aren't too spendy but they look much more age appropriate.

I was just looking through old photos and I was still a normal size at age 4 but I know when I started school I was already overweight at age 5 and it has continued. My family was all large people who smoked and never did anything physically active. Meals always included 2nd or 3rd portions. Candy and chips and highly…

To be totally honest, my first and most powerful urge is to go make myself throw up. I have never been bulimic or used that as a weight loss strategy, but when I was pregnant I had severe morning sickness and would unintentionally throw up at least once a day. I guess I am just hanging onto the fact that when my stomach…

Bump I need to be able to look back at this thread too because I have the exact same problem as the OP. I like veggies but when I go to the store I just stand there because I dont even know what to buy, or what to do with it when I get it home.
-
I do that still. not with bread but sometimes I will eat something and feel so guilty that I go buy another one before my husband realizes it is gone.
-
I haven't made cake in awhile, but I also would purposely leave more in the bowl. The last time I made it, I made sure to get as much into the pan as I could and it drove me nuts the whole time because I was missing out on the batter.
Hehe unless you find the stuff repulsive! Even the smell is grose haha! But in seriousness - good post. I wish everyone on here would read it. Perhaps we might have a week off from posts containing 'eat celory because its negative and you'll get skinny really, really fast'.... :drinker:
Im with you. I…

I dont count seconds while I am coating my pans but now that I count two seconds in my head Im sure that is all the longer I hold it. I rarely use Pam though.
-
I count them for sure. I like to have a record of whether or not I am doing good on eating them or not. Plus, it makes my good choices seem more real if I can see that I chose something with low calories
