Thanks to squats (and lunges), particularly weighted ones, I now have stronger legs, no knee issues when I run, and my bum has never looked this good
-
I don't. I did a 10 mile run today, and went out shortly after getting up in the morning with no food or drink. I used to take a water bottle with me, but worked out that I run better fasted.

I am glad we don't work together. Home baking is a whole new level of evil when it comes to office treats, I feel like I am a really mean old cow when I turn down something someone has lovingly made and brought into work. I blame The Great British Bake Off, everyone wants to bake.

I am in my mid 40's, have lost weight gradually (over 100 lbs), have good genes, lift heavy and stay hydrated (I drink plenty of water and moisterise). I have a bit of a flabby belly and my boobs aren't what they were, but I would still feel confident wearing a bikini. You can do certain things to minimise loose skin, but…

Denied it, supplied it

Fantastic when cooked well, but nasty if not.

I always do, I log anything that is not part of normal daily activity. 3 hours walking around a shopping centre is a killer. I log it as walking 2 mph.

I have protein powder with my porridge (oatmeal). I blend the powder with milk/water, and then add to the oats. This way you should get no lumps. I use 3 quarters of a scoop with 50g oats. I made protein brownies today, but they are a bit bready but taste ok with peanut butter

I am female, shorter than you, and my base maintenance level is higher than what you are eating. I suspect you need to eat more, i.e. 2200 - 2400 as Cassea7 suggested.
-
You need to let your body rest, so 6 out of 7 days would be better.

Great video, she is a great lady. I was p*ssed at the number of a*seholes who have used the comments section of her vid to push diet products - not cool

Yes. I sometimes use dumb bells for chest press and I love flies. You can also use the chest machine. The heavier the better  Edit: put the bench on an incline as this works the upper pecs which is what you will need to target.
-
Yep, but not the rotten Tom Cruise film version.
-
Yep. I am a lot older than you and dropped from 42J to 36DD. I lift, and found chest exercises (particularly incline bench press) have helped.

I spend a good couple of hours in the gym 5 days a week, and go on a long run on day 6, but I would still log long walks (including shopping trips) and spring cleaning. Nowadays I eat TDEE rather than eating back calories, so logging such exercises has no impact on my daily calorie intake. I log it as both activities are…

Anything "men only", I can't stop myself from reading these threads. I also love the kitty threads

Aerobics I do LBT on Thursdays, great class

Cooks up well apparently. Fage have a recipe section on their website if you need ideas. http://www.fageusa.com/recipes/

Back in the day ... I had a video, it was a good work out. I do an LBT class once a week, and some of the exercises are very similar.

All hail the yolk, best bit of the egg! Poached please, either on buttered toast with a little pepper or in a muffin with cheese.

I only ever buy sandwiches readymade nowadays, but then again I don't eat them that often any more. Yesterday I purchased an egg and smoked salmon sandwich from Marks & Spencer

I still live where I grew up, and I never bump into anyone I know whilst out running. As others have said, just go for it. The vast majority of people will just ignore you (except other runners who will just check out your running shoes).

I blend the protein powder with milk & water and then add to the oats and microwave (3 minutes as I like porridge you can stand your spoon up in). Current rocking my porridge with either apple crumble & custard powder or chocolate & coconut powder. Yummy

Great attitude

Congratulations, that is an amazing amount of weight to lose. This is a common problem, and I think its just that those close to you are used to you being bigger, and are probably worried unnecessarily (she does seem to have your best interests at heart). Give your friend time, and she will get used to the new you.

I dropped salad dressing for lemon juice, but now only bother with that if the salad is dry. I had a salad at Toss'd today, the server looked at me like I was a loony when I said no dressing, but the salad included tuna and avocado so was fine.

Working out with my PT this morning, 70 kg (50 kg plus 20 kg bar) and getting low. I have developed traps, but still use a pad for comfort.
