I am on Low Carb Low Fat and higher protein. I was on Keto for over 5 years. Lost 50 lbs the first year then got off and regained 30. The high fat had my intestines really messed up so got off it and started on the Optavia weight loss plan which is low carb low fat and high protein on May 1, 2023. I am at 48 pounds lost so…

Drink water water water. You can add some lemons or lemon juice also. It helps get rid of fluids.

There is a great app that is based on WW calculations. It gives you 3 choices of plans; New Bites is equal to PP, Classic is equal to old Points, and Calorie counting. It is called iTrackbites and is at the Ap Store. A small fee to purchase and no monthly fee at all. I recently DL it and am tracking there and here. My 27…

Google Diet Coke and read for yourself. I used to drink it but have given it up except for once in a great while. Now I enjoy my water but it took awhile because of the addiction. From what I have read there are more reasons not to drink it than just teeth enamel.

I took them and lost 35 lbs but gained it back plus! Not the answer!

I was on Wellbutrin XL for years. Finally got myself off of it 6 months ago. I lost weight, gained weight and the meds had nothing to do for it, just the way I ate. I was prescribed it to help quit smoking. I did quit, and am happy about that.

Give her a break! She was asking for help and encouragement not nit picking away at her. I am sure most of it was water weight from extra sodium and flying. It will come off. Try not to beat yourself up and just get back at it. Good luck!

I have tried just about every diet in my younger years and now know they don't work in the long term. I have been on WW for years and feel it is a good plan but I find myself eating too many goodies to get the points in. So, now I have decided to count calories, meSure and weigh foods and drink my water. I gave up diet…

I am 70 years young and been on MFP a few years off and on. I have lost weight and regained so many times. My last time I lost 50 lbs on WW and kept it off for over two years but now have gained 30 back and very unhappy with myself! I have decided to use MFP and count calories and see if I can lose this once for all! I am…

Thanks so much for this post. I thought I was correctly tracking but realize now I need to weigh my TBSP of peanut butter and other items like oatmeal. New concept for me but maybe this is why I lose so slowly!!
-
I tried it this way this morning also. Question...Did you cook your oatmeal first? The protein powder seemed to thicken it up too much. Thinking I should just eat oats raw with pp and blueberries?!

I am in the process now again! I had lost 50# on WW 3 years ago and did good keeping it off until the past 6 months or more. Gained back 20 pounds so want to get it off again. I figure at least I got control before gaining it all back! Not doing WW though. Just doesn't seem to be working for me now. I picked up Dr Phil's…

I have been told you need more calories when in that weight range. My g'daughter has list 160# eating 1500 cald. When you loose down to 200 lower it to 1200 cals.

I am new here. Beginning a weight loss effort this week. I had lost 50 pounds 3 years ago and the last year have been gaining so back at it before I have gained it all back! I live in Florida. Transplanted here from Illinois in 2002 after we retired. We have 3 grown children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson who will…

Just take it one day at a time. Weigh yourself once a week and take your measurements when you start and then once a month. This will really help you when you aren't dropping pounds! Inches show up during those times! Eat healthy and stay away from fat free/sugar free foods. Fat free foods have added sugars! Sugar free has…

That sounds so good, will definitely try it. Love the pb oatmeal with bananas and adding the choc chips sounds awesome. This morning I tried something new that was good. I cut up 1/2 apple into my oatmeal (I use the old fashioned so I cook it) and also sliced up some pineapple chunks too and cooked them with the oatmeal.…

I add vanilla, cinnamon, blueberries and sliced banana. Love the idea of peanut butter so think I will try that soon!

If you have been sick your whole system is out of whack. Just get back with it, eating right and exercising and it will come back off. It is normal for weight to fluxuate, especially if you have been sick. Don't give up!

I see you are 18 and living with mom and step dad. Do you have a job? Maybe that would be a big help to them and could be good for you too. Keep you busy and help buy the groceries. Maybe you already do have a job, but if not...good idea!

I agree with the Laura Scudder...the best! The Smuckers Natural is the exact same thing and cheaper. Think they are both made by the same company.
