  • I'll typically make a larger batch when I have time then stick it in the frig. It's quick to warm up. Just add some extra water or milk to make it creamier again.
  • Broccoli quiche, spinach salad, turkey sausage patty, & banana "ice cream" w 1 tsp mini chocolate chips for desert.
  • I do 1 packet sweetener (likely to cut that soon), cinnamon, vanilla, diced fruit (strawberry, banana, or blueberry).
  • What time do you eat lunch & dinner? I'm assuming Zumba is 7-8PM. I Why not just eat dinner (even a light dinner) earlier since you're obviously hungry then.

  • For mashed potatoes, I steam a head of cauliflower & then use a hand masher to mix w/ 1 baked potato, salt, pepper, & just 1-2 T butter. It's really yummy & once you're more used to it, I've found it easier to wean out that 1 potato. It's still a lot lower calorie than all potato, more milk, more butter.
  • I have a few favorites. Subway & Panera Bread are good lunch places. My favorite dinner places so far Red Lobster & Logan's Roadhouse are great because they have a healthy eating section with great food. On the Border (if you have one) is probably my favorite.   • Ummm. I don't really like them so I don't eat them often. But I'd say they are kinda spicy. Not in a hot way, but of a black pepper kinda spice.
  • I'm really happy to read this. I just read an article last night in Self magazine about how to calculate calories burned at rest for your weight/age/height. This paired with that really convinces me that it's okay to eat a bit more. In fact, eating 1200 calories & burning 900 in exercise might not be the best way to lose…
