It's an archaism, possibly even from Atticism.

Now now, don't go imagining persecution where none exists.

You can't "murder" nonhumans, by definition.

I was asking for clarification on what the poster I was responding to thought it would accomplish, because I have a nagging suspicion that it was an endorsement for targeted fat loss. It wasn't a general question on benefits of isolated exercise. But thanks anyway.
-
...to accomplish what, exactly?
-
Then how is it a problem?
-
Agreed.

Nothing in science is ever proven. You didn't even link to a study, but to a news article. Not exactly known for accuracy to their sources. Your confirmation bias and appeal to authority are duly noted.
-
Since this isn't the case with addiction and sugar, this is a strawman argument.
-
The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
-
Conjecture. Though there is evidence that some paleolithic humans ate wild grains such as barley, it is unknown how much of the diet consisted of such or how widespread this practice was.

I make my foil hats out of McDuffles shortbread wrappers.

I have already demonstrated that this is a lie. Rest of comment ignored.

Juice Plus + is fortified with beta-carotene, ascorbic acid, folic acid, and vitamin e. http://jn.nutrition.org/content/133/11/3725.long So your "nothing added" is either ignorance or deliberate misrepresentation. Which is it?
-
Nope. Saw the "warning" three days ago.
-
How long have you been working for Natural Alternatives International and/or National Safety Associates?
-
Skip all that and "bring in healthy meals" now. Anything that is a "quick fix" and/or limits you to an extremely small subset of allowed foodstuff, just sets off warning bells of "unsustainable weight loss". There is no "quick fix". Fad diets are not the way to go. Longterm adherence to healthy eating habits are.

The farts are the weight. By farting you're defeating the purpose.
-
So now we add catalysis to the growing list of topics that you've demonstrated complete ignorance of, yet still choose to contribute your uninformed opinion on. Go give yourself a protein injection.
-
It doesn't.
-
Pretentious tripe. Did you even bother reading the thread?

A bit of googling found this, though it seems needlessly complicated just to increase the font size: http://osxdaily.com/2012/05/11/change-font-size-safari-ios-bookmarklets/ This article was written in 2012, and according to the comments some had better luck with it than others, hopefully it works for you. Yet another…

This would explain a lot.

How about, if you don't want feedback, advice, and criticism, then don't post on a public forum.

Nuts or peanut butter. Few calories, plenty of protein.

Nice Freudian slip, or was that intentional?

There is no approval system. The edits are posted immediately, unless the articles are locked (only when there are high levels of vandalism or when there's an edit war).

That's why you check the references in the wikipedia article. Also, blatant POV and unsourced material and such gets removed fairly quickly from medical related articles, because so many people with knowledge of the subject matter have those articles in their watchlists.
