This is an excellent program, http://www.goodformrunning.com/, that teaches about proper form. I have had less aches and pains now that I follow this. Hope this helps you with your training.

I agree get outside and start running. It is the only way your body will get used to the conditions outside. Running outside will build your endurance.

Welcome and congrats on your weight loss so far! What Beachbody program are you using? I am on my second week of Insanity. Cannot wait for the fit test on Monday to see the improvement. Keep up your hard work.

The fitness program I am doing has a fit test every two weeks so I am limiting myself to that.

I am in the second week so far. Pure Cardio is no joke. Speaking of that is the workout for tonight. Better get the mop out. The soreness is worth it. Have you tried the Results and Recovery from Beachbody? If you guys have any questions about Insanity or Beachbody let me know.

Welcome! Congrats on completing P90X and starting Insanity. They are great programs.

From Team Beachbody's website I should be consuming 2100 calories to do the Insanity program and to reach the weight loss I am shooting for. This is significantly more than it shows on here. If you have ever watched a show like Biggest Loser you have probably seen where the trainers keep telling them they have to consume…

I love Ebates! I had no idea that Beachbody was affiliated with them. I am in agreement with everyone saying to purchase through Beachbody directly. I went the way of Craigslist and eBay and got bad copies both times. Getting burned twice was enough for me. The one from eBay was suppose to come from New York Priority Mail…

Welcome. I am training for my third half marathon this year in September. I have always loved running.

Check out http://exercise.about.com/cs/abs/l/bl_core.htm. This shows you multiple different exercises you can do with your exercise ball. Towards the bottom you will find additional articles with other options as well. Hope this help!

Welcome! MFP is helping me since calorie tracking was the last thing I needed to figure out. Looking at losing around 50 to 60 pounds and are wanting to do it in the next 7 months. Gave myself an aggressive goal because I know that if I do not do it that way I will relax with our workouts. Would love to partner with you…

My wife and I have been hot and cold with getting healthy. Since April though we have been fine tuning what we are doing. This is helping us finish our fine tuning since calorie tracking was the last thing we were needing to figure out. We both are looking at losing around 50 to 60 pounds and are wanting to do it in the…

What are you looking at doing with this new program? If you are interested in cardio programs there is Insanity and RevAbs. Otherwise there is always P90X. Do you have the CLX deluxe set? If not you can "Add all 7 extreme deluxe workouts—including Chalene's 4 newest workouts—to your ChaLEAN Extreme collection, plus the…

If you are using cotton socks that would be the first thing I would change. There are blister preventing socks for running. Here is an article from Runners World that helps explain the different types. http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-240-320--13925-0,00.html Hope this helps you! Are you training for anything…

If you have a smart phone that are a lot of different apps available. I have been using Runkeeper (http://runkeeper.com) and have enjoyed using it. Best part it is free!

Just started week 2 today! It is exciting to see everyone that is getting ready to start or starting Insanity.

My wife and I are actually doing the same training schedule for our half marathon in September. We missed 3 runs so far because we have been redoing two of our rooms last week. We have committed to keep with it this week despite all this heat. Are you just a week behind in your training? Have you done a half marathon…

I would agree it sounds like shin splints. Hope this article helps http://www.runnersworld.com/article/1,7120,s6-241-290-291-529-0,00.html

The Beachbody Challenge link is http://www.teambeachbody.com/connect/beachbody-challenge/pledge. If you have never signed up for Team Beachbody you would simply sign up for one of the two membership options. When it asks who referred you if you do not mind entering legacychangers I would appreciate it.

Just completed my first week of Insanity. I was just reading up on the Beachbody Challenge and am excited about the challenge. Another great reason to start a fitness program. There is nothing better than being entered to win prizes for doing workouts you are already doing. Membership is free or you can choose a $2.99…

Welcome! I understand what you are saying since I have been in similar circumstances. My wife suffered from a bad back injury about 4 years ago. For 3 years she was unable to do some of the most common routines. With her inability to do things I let myself go as well. I have gained weight and I have set a goal of losing 50…

What kind of exercise are you doing? I definitely agree with a previous statement, I have keep changing it up. Finally figured out I am not a gym person and have found a love for running. Even with running though I cannot run the same area so I am also changing distance and places I run. I am also going through an at home…

Insanity is definitely a high burning calorie workout due to the interval training. I have not been able to figure out how to get an accurate calorie burn from doing a workout. I have seen estimate of around 250 to 300 calories. Have you considered doing a meal replacement/protein shake after your workout? The one I use…

True there is a price difference. Compared to Hebrallife, Shakeology also has Phytonutrients, probiotics, and digestive enzymes which supports immune function, support digestive health and increase absorption rate of foods. In 90 day studies people have been found to lose weight, reduce craving, increase energy and…

I have tried many different varieties and have found Shakeology to be superior to its competitors. It not only has protein but it also has many essential nutrients that our bodies need. I have seen a real difference and results from switching to Shakeology.

You can definitely still tone with Insanity. The biggest plus for me is it requires no weights or additional equipment. Your body is all the equipment you need. I would recommend Insanity over other programs. If you want more information on the program or the benefits I have found let me know.

My wife and I just completed the first week of month one today. Nothing better than Insanity. Plus we are adding in 3+ mile runs when we can. Pure Cardio is my favorite workout even though people think I am crazy for saying that. Nothing better than leaving it all on the floor and having all the sweat to prove it.
-
I prefer Insanity since I am more into cardio than weight training and muscle building. Plus I am more concerned with weight loss right now than building up muscle. Just finishing first week of month one again. If you have any questions about the program let me know.
