Congratulations! Amazing! Thanks for sharing.

I restarted C25K. I hope to get in another run by the 31st.

If the ex didn't love you for your personality, who cares! (Of course, I am susceptible to the same temptation to want to flaunt it at least once.)

I can see the difference! You look fabulous! Keep up the great work!

I might actually stay home this year. :-) I have been to a dance party the last 5 years, and have finally had my fill. However, my friends will be doing their annual New Year's Day get together, so I will attend that. I find that more relaxing and a great way to start off the year.

Eggs, beans, and shredded cheese can be added to the salad to give it some protein and extra calories. Chicken legs are also cheap. I will buy frozen corn and peas to toss into the salad as well. Could it be the dyes or other additives in the vitamins that are making you sick? Maybe you can try a vitamin without those…

I started MFP at 1200 calories but then upped my calorie intake to match my BMR. I now aim for about 1400 calories. I feel more energetic and fuller for a longer time. I suggest you also match your calories to your BMR as you go along. You can only lose so much weight per week, so why starve yourself needlessly?

A boyfriend does not have the same commitment level as a husband. I would wait until you find a man willing to commit to you for life, before you bring other lives into this world. It is hard on kids when parents split up. When you have a kid, you are bonded to the man for a good portion of your life, whether good, bad, or…

I don't recommend this one. However, what if you include a coupon for a kiss at the end of the date?

It has something to do with allowing him his role. If you must do something: Keep it VERY SIMPLE. The card is fine. Maybe include a nice line or two saying how much you've enjoyed your dates thus far.

Jobs in healthcare are abundant, and will probably be as the boomer population ages -- not sure how that affects you where you live though. Be wise in choosing a career. Some things take years of preparation. Research things out, and take advantage of opportunities.

No. If i knew him in the flesh where I live and he moved, then I would consider following only if I thought we were serious enough AND there was a chance we'd marry soon after.

What kind of socks do you recommend? I have a feeling those cotton socks are not a great idea in chilly temps.

In July, I took a pic with an obese friend of mine. When my stomach resembled hers, I realized it was time to come to terms with my being overweight also. That made me realize that I needed to do something then and there. FYI: MY friend is embarking on her own weight loss journey too.

Too much to list. I love it!

I love this feeling! I am almost there myself! Enjoy your shopping trip for new jeans -- good sales this time of the year. :-)

I agree. Don't make it worse. You made need to work up to running.

It sounds like someone was jealous and maybe someone tried to make her feel better but stuck her foot in her mouth in doing so.

Get a work up by your doctor, or even head to the ER for one. It could be something very serious. Best to get it checked out.

I agree. Your signing onto a house with him will not improve his credit score, although it may drag yours down. He is not your husband, so why take a chance?

They never left. I hate them so much now.

My parents renewed their vows some years ago. My dad handed me the mike to say something (NO warning whatsoever) as part of their ceremony. I decided to say something quite deep and thoughtful on the spur of the moment. My mom went through some very difficult things when I was little, so I wanted to let my dad know how…
