I would love this, if I could do it . I loooove watching This Old House, Yankee Workshop, and related things.

I knit a little. I also cross stitch. I used to fiddle with my computer (would swap out parts and try out all sorts of open source software).
-
I'm glad it all worked out for you.

Go Yankees!!!

I have bananas & rice in the house at the moment, and a few crackers. So, I will try that and see how it works. Then, I suppose I can head to the store to buy some more stuff after that. Thank you all for your suggestions! Very helpful!

I lost about a pound a week on it on Level 1. I found that I lost if I could work on it 4-5 days a week. When I started doing it less, it was harder for me.

Are you playing soccer? If you are watching, then maybe you can walk the sideline to get in a little exercise while you watch. Can you park your car a little further from work, or is it near/safe enough to ride a bike to/from work? On Sunday, even though you are exhausted, sometimes, a little light exercise can help…

I think what you run on also matters. Concrete eats shoes up. (Knees too!)

The best idea! Thank you for making me smile today! I think I've gotten some new options. Thank you for sharing so far!

I still have to pull them up, even with a belt. I only need to lose a few more. Maybe a month to go?

If you exercise your shoulder and chest muscles, you can get some lift for your breasts. I am starting to see that with 30DS. I am hoping to lose a cup size myself. Then, I can hit the sales racks in any store and not have to hunt down one or two stores that actually carry my size. Sorry, TMI.

It's such a need-hate relationship!

Is this the same as interval training? Just curious.

I am going to try level 2 this week. I previewed it. I'm scared! Alas, I've committed to finish this DVD! I'll just have to have some ice at the ready. :-)

I break a sweat each and every time. Keep telling yourself that you won't ache as much on Day 5. There is something about the first four days that makes everyone a little achy. You CAN do it! Just keep it up. Modify, if you need to, and work your way up to level one if you need to.

You look so toned! Very nice! :-)

Bump. I've got an extra can of stuff around here somewhere. I might try the shake idea. Sounds yummy.

I would love a smaller chest! Of course, then my stomach would stick out more. But, oh, the things I could wear!!

Now, I know why they invented Chlorox wipes! I am so sorry you had to go through that disgusting experience.

bump. Great topic!

Some kind of "like" button. A way to tag your fave posts from your friends/self, so you can go back to them for encouragement, advice, to see how far you've come.

I think that's the ideal weight you would be, not factoring in any variables or individual rates of metabolism.

I have some wonderful work pants that I may need to take in, because I just don't have the money to replace them either. But, I will see if I can find new clothing in the thrift shop first, because it is cheaper. -- As far as buying all new clothing. If you can afford it and prefer to have all new stuff, then I see no…

Thank you for posting. I appreciate this fresh perspective.

Ice may also help.

That sounds good to me.

Remember, you haven't added any fuel to the tank all night!

I was reading that you should eat first thing in the morning, because your body will produce adrenaline to combat the lack of calories coming in. Adrenaline is what fuels the fight or flight response. (Anxiety suffers, be aware of this!) Definitely eat something, even if it's just a granola bar. If you work out later in…

Last spring, I weighed about 144 and was on my way to a size 8. This spring, I ballooned up to 170/sz 14, due mostly to meds. It took me a couple of years or so to lose the original weight I had (down from 165 at that point). So, I definitely wanted to cry!!! (And, sometimes, do.) It is frustrating. This time, however, I…
