  • Whilst I do agree with you, I do feel that if you chose to lose weight in a sensible and maintainable way then you are giving yourself the best tools to maintain. I used to work with a girl who would base the quality of a diet on which one let her eat the most chocolate-surely a lifestyle change for the better is the best…
  • I remember that feeling so well....it's great. I'm looking forward to the day I fall into the 'healthyweight' category. GO YOU! xx
  • How are you all doing today guys? I was pretty good yesterday-still getting over my bug and didn't feel like doing much for dinner. I had a sandwhich and probably overdid it on the cheese as I didn't weigh it. Still-I'm not too worried as I have been under the last few days. I feel good today. I am going to make myself…
  • Right-it's Monday morning and I feel charged and ready for the working weeks food (and hopefully working out-although I am getting over a chest infection-so we'll see how that goes). The weekend was good...seeing a good loss on Friday has helped me focus resulting in a dedicated weekend of good choices. I hope you all have…
  • Being part of a team is really motivating. I have made some great choices today and I am really proud of myself. I even just sat here watching the other half eating an iced bun (which there were two of them). I had a bite and was happy with that. We are going out to a fireworlks display tonight and have allowed over 900…
  • Hey guys.....hope you have all had a fab week. Can someone help me out please? Laptop is down so doing this on my blackberry. Annoyingly it won't let me access the spreadsheet on here. Can one of you guys log my weight please? I weighed in at 180.75 lbs today....a loss (YEESSSS). Thanks a million in advance-Gem xxx
  • you should eat them like the Portugese do.....grilled coated in peri peri. Lovely and spicy and very delicious.
  • I just thought I’d take the time to introduce myself. I am Gem, I’m 27 and I live just outside London. I am well on my way in my weightloss journey, having lost about 40 lbs so far. I started my journey at 222lbs (I’m 5’7”) and currently weigh in (on Friday) at 184lbs. I have mostly lost this weight though diet and…
  • Yes please-count me in too-I'm desperate to be slimmer for Christmas and a good 10lbs down would be a wonderful Christmas pressie. :) xx
  • Hi-I'd love to join. Starting weight (today): 182.5 Christmas goal weight: 169 I hope to be 13.5 lbs down by Christmas which is 1.5 lbs per week.
  • I haven't been there before but I think 150lbs would be a good place for me. I dream of this day. Maybe I'll want more when I am there-who knows. 29lbs to go.
  • I do this exact same thing. I don't even know what it is that is causing it. I cannot get past 174 lbs (highest weight 222lbs). I have gained and lost the same ten pounds about 5 times now. I swear I am doing this the last time. I shouldn't beat myself up really-I have had reasons-I got really sick last year and found out…
  • Goodness me-you have done so well and are really seeing the benefits in the mirror and more importantly your health. You should give yourself a big pat on the back and feel wonderful as I know your story will inspire others. What a great effort. Onwards and downwards. :) Gem x
  • Amazing-you have done yourself proud.
  • Oh wow-yummy! I will have to try this at the weekend. :)
  • ...three large glasses of water just sunk-I must have been thirsty and not hungry. Glad I didn't reach for the snacks straight away. :) Sweet chilli turkey and veggie stir fry for me tonight-and plent of calories left over for some melon on later. Yummy.
  • I have tried these and can safely say, they are the business! ;) x
  • I am 5'7"-my first goal is 150 lbs to not totally scare myself- but I'd like to see what I would look like at 140. I don't think I'd want to be any smaller than that. I just can't see me being able to maintain it for any long period of time. I just want to be into the middle of the 'healthy weight range' and not feel like…
  • Well done you-a loss is a loss and you are doing so well this month. Keep working at it! xx
  • I lost 1.75 lbs this week-I am thrilled to bits-I had a very calorific wedding on Friday and Saturday I was over having a bit of an indulgance day (probably only over by 200-300 calories but still over). Hope you are all doing well-I am hoping for a really good loss this week-I feel, once again, boosted by the scales…
  • I couldn't agree more-cottage cheese and tuna is the future. Add some black pepper and fresh chives (or spring onions) for a bit of a twist. I now have a tuna craving-wish I was having it for lunch now.
  • You need to believe in yourself. You can do this and you will reach your goals-you have to be strong and committed. If I can lose weight, anyone can. I have lost over three stone so far with another 2 to go. Just take everything as it comes-plan your meals in the morning so you know what to have and what you can treat…
  • I'm interested in this one too-I have it but not got it out of the box as I have a bad knee (from a sky diving accident) but have had the all clear from physio so planning on having a go tonight. :)
  • This is ace-you really did well this week. I hope I can do half as well as you have this week. :)
  • Fab tips guys-thank you for being the rock I need when I can't count on those that I should be able to. I'm probably still going to only-only I am going to walk over and hope for the best dinner wise-only eating a small portion of anything high calorie. I will say no to pudding (if one emerges) and take an apple with me…
  • I actually find it costs me less-I am limiting myself to what I eat now-which means I eat less....a box of cereal lasts me weeks because I am only having 30g portion. I also buy veggie meat replacement (because its lower in calories) and its significantly cheaper than meat. Salad, fruit and veggies make up the rest and I…
  • I have lost a whole shoe size!
  • I battle this everyday. Planning in advance helps. Not eating my trigger food helps. Not buying naughty food helps. Making my boyfriend count things like bisucuits and treats helps. I always binge when I am alone-never in the company of others. I always have treats at my desk but I know they are my other halfs and not…
  • My guess would be that you aren't eating enough-1200 calories should be your net amount. Try eating some fruit that is high in fibre to get you up to 200 calories a day. Keep at it. :) xx
  • 0.5 lbs off this week-I'm actually thrilled about it because I very nearly avoided the scales because I have had such a bad week-having a binge attack which lead to getting a take away. My weekend wasn't too good either-plans of healthy eating pretty much evaporated with bread and cheese and making chocolate brownies. I…
