Hi everyone! I started on My Fitness Pal way back in 2011. I am just starting back, and I need motivation. I am not good at sticking at to diets, but I am willing to try again.
-
Go back in time and fix some things I have done wrong.
-
Same as you! I only log losses.

I am 40. I joined MFP a long while back but have come and gone and started again. On this last and final comeback, I have lost 28 pounds. I have made a lifestyle change. I love the supportive friends I have this time. It has made a huge difference! Anyone can feel free to add me!

I am 40. Anyone can just send me a friend request. I have been on MFP fot a while now. This is a lifestyle change. Slow and steady wins the race.

If you are not hungry, don't worry about it. I know some people say to eat back the exercise calories or not to go under 1200. I usually stay under or just a liitle over. This is the only way I lose!

I so agree, but everytime I say that it is diagnosed too often, I get told how wrong I am. I do believe that parents just want to medicate their kids instead of dealing with the issues in other ways. I also have noticed how these kids are very picky eaters. The paremts only expose them to hot dogs, pizza rolls, chicken…

I feel your pain! You feel bad because these people are not only being swindled out of their money, they are also putting their health in danger by not eating a balanced diet. I am a cub scout leader, and there are 4 scouts in our pack who go to the local doctor in town. These scouts are all on the same meds for adhd. I…

I never worried about my weight much until I went to a doctor's appointment and my blood pressure was very high. The doctor told me with it that high, I could have a stroke. It scared me. I try to remember that scary feeling. Life is precious! Obesity can lead to a life that is full of obstacles.

What was said was totally unprofessional. It should never have been said. Your health is more important than your trainer's reputation. Anyone coming into the gym would not know if you lost or gained. And it is nobody's business! I would speak to the trainer, but I might find another gym that did not have rude managers.…

Feel free to add me! I am on here trying to get healthy, and I log pretty consistently.

Awesome! Congratulations! I finally went under about a month ago. Now I am at my halfway mark. I love being rewarded for hard work.

I tried for years to lose weight on lots of diets. I kept gaining unfortunately. After being diagnosed with hypertension, I went to a nutritionist. She advised me to eat 2 small meals, 2 snacks, and one larger but not huge meal. This works for me and keeps me from overindulging. I love sweets so I can incorporate one…

My hubby makes the money. I am a stay at home mom. I have input on how it is spent though.

Glad I am not the only one who uses it in lasagna. It is so much cheaper than ricotta.

Feel free to add me. I am definitely not new. I have logged in for over 200 days. I am losing weight slowly. My diary is open. I will support and not criticize.
-
Anyone can send me a friend request. I like friends who cheer me on. I will do the same!

Wow! That is great news! I am trying to lower my blood pressure with diet too! It is lower now that I have lost 25 lbs. It is still not where I want it to be though. You are an inspiration!
-
Feel free to add me! I have fell off the wagon and am trying my best to stay on this time or at least keep logging when I do bad. We all need encouragement and support, not criticism and negative suggestions!

Only you can change your eating habits. If you want to be fit and healthy, you have to exercise and eat healthy. It is up to you! MFP is a great tool, but you have to do the work.

I love snack pack puddings, single serving ice cream cups or 1 oz bags of chips. Most of my problem is serving size. So with it already measured, I can eat it and log it without going overboard.
-
Feel free to send me a request. I am also a very sensitive and do not take criticism well. I am trying! I am taking this one step at a time.

Actually, I was like many of the newbies. Joined and then lost enthusiasm. I got serious again this past Jan after a health scare. I have logged in every day since. I am losing weight super slowly, but I am making changes to last a lifetime. Anyone can be my friend. I like supportive friends and not ones who nitpick my…

I do not like it when people say they habe not given up anything. If we did not make changes, we would stay the same. Personally, I gave up sodas, milkshakes, cheese danishes, blizzards, big macs, and iced sweet tea. I know tea is healthy, but not if you have to add lots of sugar to tolerate it. I gave up big portions. I…

GREAT POST! I love my friends who cheer me on. I makes me boil when someone who does not walk in my shoes gives me advice that I have not asked for.

Just turned 40 last June. Feel free to friend me.

I eat and log my favorite foods often. Because I watch sodium levels I have had to start making some of my favorites from scratch, but I still have the foods I love. I would completely give up if I could not have burgers, fries, and cookies. Life would not be as enjoyable!

My mom has high cholesterol. The nutritionist she saw told her to grind up oatmeal in the food processor. Then use it for breading on chicken and baked items. She also said to use it to replace half the flour in recipes that call for flour. Also limit fried foods. When you do have to fry, use a good oil like canola.

I live in South Ga. I still eat my favorite southern foods. Feel free to befriend me. I need more friends from dixie! Lol!
