Thanks everyone for the support and kind words. Frg, they said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the results, so hopefully when I go on Wednesday to get the stitches out, they will have them since it's been two weeks. This is going to sound weird, but after reading all about this one, I am hoping it's the one. Out of all the…

Ok, so here's another part of my story. 19 months ago, I developed this weird "groove" down my upper left arm. My shoulder and upper arm was killing me, like I had pulled all the muscles and then two days later this groove showed up. Long story short, over the last 19 months, 7 different doctors they have sent me to can't…

That's not unethical....that's gorilla warfare! LOL I looked at a couple of them too and want to mention for future reference, that Gary told them all that if they could switch the exercise days around to fit their schedules. One team asked if they could switch out one day for the other because one of their members was…

Again, I am impressed with everyone here being very honest and truthful. We could all lock our diaries down and just say "I did everything." No one here is doing that. Everyone is being honest and forthwright when they miss something. I AM PROUD TO BE PART OF SUCH AN ETHICAL TEAM!!!!! This is one of my favorite sayings…

I don't feel like any of this is TMI. It reminds us all how we are all diverse, but similar. Everyone's stories remind me that we are human but we are strong. We have been through very hard times but we made it and are hopefully wiser because of it. I know for every challenge I have faced in my life, I have gained wisdom,…

I have a few reasons. 1. I'm in my 40's now and I know I need to do it for my health and so I can stick around for awhile because I'm loving life. II've never had a problem with weight until the last few years, I've been gaining about 10 lbs. a year, so I knew it was time to own up to it. 2. I had a first marriage of 21…

Well.....my nickname is Pooh because he was my favorite childhood character. I could so relate to him. He was mischievious, but not mean, loved to play, was smarter than he realized sometimes and not-so-smart when he thought he was sometimes, wanted to help others, loved his friends and family and a little clutzy. End the…

I just wanted to say that I think this is a great motivational tool to keep us pumped up! But I don't want any team member to feel bad if they miss their goal for the day. Yes, we all need to do our best to get it all in and get our team totals up, but in the end, it is about being healthier and stronger, each one of us. I…

Ok, do we need to tell you daily when we complete our daily exercise challenges or do you want us to wait until Sunday to let you know if we did them all?

Lol. I know my cornbread too as I am also southern born and bred. The honest answer is no, they are not as good as cornbread made with no thought to calories, carbs or healthiness! The good answer is that they are still better than not having cornbread! I found them very moist. I think next time, I will tweak them a bit by…

Well I had to go buy a new scale too! When I weighed in two weeks ago on my old one, it said 172 lbs. I thought that odd considering at the Doctor's a few days prior, I weighed 178 (before I started MFP). But I trudged on and on Saturday, I was down to 164. Last night my hubby was weighing in and it told him he had gained…

Way to go SCC88! I have 50 of them in so far...having to do 2 sets of 50 :). I can walk a mile...don't ask me to run either! Lol.

I watched it yesterday! Eekies!

The first calculator told me to eat 1103 calories a day to lose weight, the second one told me 1658! Lol. I think that just shows that there are many different opinions out there.

I find that the key for me to help cut carbs is nothing white! No pasta, potatoes, bread (white), etc. If you eleminate just those three things, it should make a major difference in carbs. It's not all the carbs, but it's a good start to try.

I was going to ask the same thing. Weight tomorrow or what I weighed last Saturday?
