I used a bodybugg for a while...the bugg includes ALL of your calories for the day. MFP also gives you a number that would be INCLUDED in your daily number for the bodybugg. So I'm wondering if you are using MFP to give you a number for the day of what you should be eating, plus adding in EVERYTHING from the bodybugg. You…

I buy individual bars or sandwiches so I can eat one for less than 200 calories and make sure it fits in my calorie goal for the day. Weight watchers are great.

Thanks! I have actually adjusted my macros to 40/30/30 so that's why I'm having a hard time getting in my protein - and I'm almost always over carbs. Trying to figure out where I can fit in more protein...
-
I want to do this as well!

Love Hip Hop Hustle!! Easy day for me today - 20 mins of yoga

Help me! I need to eat more protein. What do you eat? Is your diary open?

Cardio is not required for weight loss...however for overall health it is important. My suggestion is to try classes at the gym. See if you can find one you like. Also, it doesn't need to be a full hour to be a good cardio session. 20-30 mins would be fine 2-3X a week. Maybe hop on the treadmill for hills for a while, then…

Too hot - you did amazing! That is a great NSV!

This!! Weight Watchers didn't do this many moons ago when I first tried it. And I was starving all the time and working out like a maniac. Now things have changed.
-
You have done an amazing job...so far ;) Keep it up!
-
Yes you can eat low calories, lose weight and like me, gain it all back because your body was starving and continues to starve on a super low calorie diet. Make sure you are eating the right amount and stop focusing on the scale - focus on how your clothes feel and how YOU FEEL.
-
I've always thought roller derby looked way cool - good for you for doing it!! Once you start tracking calories again the weight will just fall off!! Good luck!

Ok so I'm mid week through week 4. I also have a thyroid problem and its TOM. I am exhausted - sleeping 9-10 hours a night and needing a nap on days I can nap. When you guys are talking about fatigue what are you experiencing? I'm wondering if I need to go to doctor to check my thyroid again or if its just the result of…

I too feel incredibly huge although with starting reset week 4 I've only gained 2 pounds. I'm not sure as I am ignoring the scale (its in the bathroom, I stepped on it Friday and it was the same as the Friday before). So looks like I'm eating TDEE which I'm estimating about 2500 calories a day based on the scooby…

I was obsessed with the scale - I would weigh in 2X a day, sometimes more. It was sad and ridiculous and I let it run my life. about 8 weeks ago I bumped my calories to TDEE - 15% and put the scale away. 4 weeks ago I went to full TDEE. It is so freeing to be able to EAT and not worry about the scale. I'm doing a full 8…

I lost a ton of weight - 50 pounds - by exercising 10-12 hours a week and restricting calories to around 1200-1500 per day - some days I did indulge a bit. Took about 6 months. I got plantar faciitis in both of my feet and had to stop running. Once I cut back on my exercise the weight quickly came back on, without much…

Add me as well - I too need friends who like to eat more!

Thanks for the support. So my question is how many pounds should I expect to gain? I'm barely under 200 and if I go over that again I might sit and cry for days...

I was talking with my husband about this last night. He was saying how we have both gained weight since we've been together. I've been struggling to lose weigh for at least 6 years. I had lost 80 pounds doing crazy amounts of cardio and weights but I don't remember restricting my calories all that much. I didn't journal or…

I like Weight Watchers frozen toffee bars, glutino sandwich cookies, Newman's Own gluten free fig bars and many chocolate bars are gluten free. Oh, sugar free jello and whipped cream is also great. And chocolate milk. I've also purchased gluten free brownie mix which was pretty good as well.
-
That is amazing and the health benefits you have experience must make you feel amazing!! AWESEOME.

Thank you for posting this as I have been having the same issue. I can easily spend $150 a week for my husband and myself. There is some good information here so thank you all for responding. I also have a gluten intolerance so I can't get regular oatmeal, bread, etc and gluten free food is nearly twice as expensive as…

perfect for those with gluten allergies too!

So...I am overweight. have been for years. I did lose 80 pounds at one time, gained back 50 of it. here is the deal. a couple of years ago I felt HUNGRY constantly. STARVING. No one believed me. I went to a doctor who asked if I thought about eating before I ate to make sure I was really hungry. I was so PO'd. I was eating…

You need to start somewhere! When I was 21 I joined gym for the first time. I weighed over 200 pounds and got on the treadmill the first day. I walked a whole mile - I was so excited!! Took me 30 minutes...yes you read that 30 minutes. But I started somewhere! Funny thing, I've completed 5Ks in the about the same time. I…

As a fitness instructor who teaches spin, I agree with all of the comments here! I also "coach" that this is your class, you do what works best for you. My job is to try to get you to push a little harder each time. You can do it!!

As a group fitness instructor, I love seeing new people come into class! Its a great way to build a network of friends a the gym who are like you - trying to get into shape or staying in shape! I would suggest bringing a towel and water to class. And lots of energy! You don't need any other special equipment - the gym…

I love steel cut oats!! I like to use almond milk instead of milk or water - find it makes thicker and creamier. I just add honey and cinnamon to mine. I sometimes will add raisins but those are addicting to me so I don't buy raisins often :)

I'm new too and need friends so feel free to add me as well!
