I am 45 and 5'4. I'm 5 pounds shy of losing 100 pounds...I lost some of that on 800 & 1000 calories. Joined MFP and made a goal of 2 lbs per week and like everyone it seems, was given a 1200 calorie limit. I ate 1200 for weeks and weeks, no exercise...lost a lot. Just turned 45. Kids are getting older and I have finally decided to take care of me. Eating healthy, losing weight and working out has put the spring back in my step. I embrace each year for what it is...gray hairs and all. Looking forward only!

I quit buying "trigger" foods...out of house, out of sight...out of sight, out of mind, easy! I also cleaned up my way of eating...the cravings and desire to snack are gone which really helps with when temptation does knock. Take joy in tossing the junk, lots of power in doing so!

1st post...regular follower. I'm just shy about 13 pounds from my 2nd goal of 100! Then I'll have another 40ish from there, I think. I'd love to have some motivational buddies...currently I only have two and I don't think either are active :-(
